Had lunch here today. Pretty good! The margaritas were "ok". The fajitas were tasty! I had #63 (shrimp, chicken and beef). Service was quick!

Update: Back here in June 23.... had regular beef nachos. Service was terribly slow today. We were in a party of 7. Took forever to get service. Food was still tasty. This time I tried a Margo-corona. It was better than a regular margarita.

Excellent place to eat, also quick with having GrubHub orders ready. The best tacos I've ever eaten came from this place. The top shelf margarita was excellent as well. Cannot recommend this place enough. 5vstar rating earned on all fronts. Will be returning again!!!

Although El Vecino has been around for awhile, we only discovered it about 6 months ago. We've now eaten there about 6 times & all have been excellent experiences. The chimachanga with shredded beef is the best I've ever tasted. And their take on the sopapilla is unlike any I've ever had. Highly recommend!

I stopped by Thursday evening for a frozen margarita. It was awful!!!

Had a funny taste!!!!!

Very strange limey, frothy instead of slushy, + $7.00

I don't know if their machine wasn't working or what.

I informed waitress I didn't like it, why it look so frothy, had a strange limey taste, she simply said, "that's our frozen margarita we serve", I simply said "thank you I won't be back , may I have my check "

Paid the $7,52, no tip!!!!!

I didn't eat anything, just wanted a good margarita!

Sadly I won't be back!!!!!!

My girlfriend and I went for the first time. It's legit seven minutes away from the house. There was wheelchair accessible parking. The restroom was tiny; however, accessible. Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. I ordered a queso dip (small) and had it sent back. The cheese tasted burnt. The salsa is fresh and homemade. I ordered a quesa-birria and a side of rice. I got full quickly off of one birria. My Arnold Palmer was delicious. My girlfriend ordered the shrimp al mojo de ajo. She stated that the seasoning was great! We had lunch for work the next day. The salsa is also fresh and homemade. This may be our new spot to get Mexican.

One of the best Traditional Mexican restaurants in the Birmingham area... Whether it's dine-in or take-out (honestly the take-out is just as fresh tasting) you can't beat their Enchiladas, Tacos, or Fajitas. I come here regularly and will continue to pick this restaurant over others whenever possible. The White cheese dip is phenomenal as well as the salsa. Give this place a try and you won't be sorry! Tell them Josh sent you and they will literally not know who you are talking about.... ????????

Went to a Bridal Shower here. I enjoyed my visit and the food. I had the Combination plate CZ. It was appealing and filling. Good customer service. We was informed about paying for our meals, because some people want to eat but not pay. So wrong!

My husband and I eat here at least twice a week if not more!! The employees are always friendly and attentive. The quality and quantity of food is a steal considering the prices are low. I honestly have never gotten something from here that I didn't love. No wonder this July they'll be in business for 20yrs. Love this place!!!
