Full Moon Bar-B-Que had been a delightful experience. Wife and I have been living out of our luggage for 3 weeks. The full Moon restaurant has come to the rescue on a number of occasions, the service is quick,the food is delicious and the waitresses are very helpful explaining the menu.
The carrot cake is amazing and the fried catfish is awesome. The barbecue brisket sandwich and ribs are also very tasty. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
This is a very popular restaurant you might want to call first especially Friday evenings. If you enjoy great tasting Bar-B-Que this is the restaurant.

All I'm going to say is DELICIOUS ???? the food was everything I expected. I'm in town on vacation and really wanted barbecue so I stopped here. Money well spent everything was hot and fresh and I got so full. I ordered the creamy mac and cheese, fried green tomatoes with ribs so so good.

Went with the Barbecue Ribs and Brisket Platter. Double Fries. And Milk Chocolate Silk Pie. I am an intense loyalist to a certain other Place in Bessemer. However The Barbecue and accompaniment here was well worth touting. The Ribs came with Four Dill Chips one apiece. A very creative touch. All The Barbecue was shockingly tender. Double Fries were great slathered with Ketchup. And The Pie was even greater washed down with a cup of Whole Milk the next day. I even enjoyed the corn relish on the plate and I am definitely not a Superfan of that item. Just a terrific Meal all the way around topped with attentive and joyous Service!????????????????????????????????????

We recommend for dine in and take out. We enjoy the pulled pork sandwiches, ribs, and recently the burgers and fries. The service is great. The burgers are thick, juicy, cooked just right, taste like real beef! The fries taste like real potatoes. The sweet tea is great!

Simply just okay. I was looking forward to some good food since the guys at work hyped this place up. The mac & cheese wasn't mac'n...it tasted like Kraft or Velveeta from the box. The potato was 2 potatoes put together to make it seem large. I had to ask for extra butter & sour cream since it was so dry.

Traveling this direction decided to get some BBQ and all the trimmings to go. Bad experience. Meat had zero taste and all the trimmings were cold and the slaw was the worst ever.

One of our favorite menu items is the whole BBQ chicken, very tender and they cut it into pieces (breasts, wings, thighs and legs)...BUT...they will NOT give you enough BBQ sauce for it unless you ask for it, and even then, CHECK before you leave, as they rarely add the extra sauce even when they were asked to. The container that they include is rarely filled beyond halfway, so roughly under a cup. They used to be generous with their sauce, but they have gotten rather stingy. They raised prices for their menu items, but lowered service. I've attached a picture of the container of sauce that was given with the whole chicken ordered. After they gave me my items, I checked everything out, sure enough, no extra sauce. I asked for the extra that I had requested when I placed my order, I was given 4 of the individual containers, it definitely helped that they were full! Come on Full Moon, do better!
I will give them kudos for great onion rings ????
