I love the very warm southern hospitalities that me and my coworker received dining at The Depot. All the staff members are so friendly, our waitress was the sweetest. She gave us great recommendations with a smile on her face all the time. Most of the food we ordered were seafood, every dish is made with locally sourced, seasonally grown and delicious ingredients. My coworker ordered a waygu beef burger which is not pictured here but he said it’s the best beef burger he’s had in his life!

The spicy blue crab dip and the gulf seafood bowl are two of the dishes I highly recommend! Portions are huge compare to restaurants here in NYC. I think the dip can be easily shared by 4-6 people. There gulf seafood pasta has a CRAZY amount of various kinds of FRESH seafood, generous chunks of different types of white meat fish, scallops, shellfish in a delicious flavorful home made sauce! It’s a perfect dish if you like pasta and want to try a little bit of some of the seafood they have at the restaurant.

Great cocktails and oysters. Service and atmosphere are also great. Entrées just sometimes disappoint. I would love to give it 5 stars, but I have had just had too many ok meals to do so. They do have a great bourbon selection and the bread pudding is ????.

The only bad thing about our meal was the feeling that we had somehow been slighted: we've been living here two years without trying it before now. The trout was unbelievably good - as was the amberjack and crab dip!!

Probably the best dining experience in Auburn and the surround area! Great staff, great food, great atmosphere! We love the fresh seafood, the spin on all the different dishes, always a great experience! Highly recommend!

I hosted a private dining event. Madison was amazing to work with, the staff on the night were incredibly accommodating, and the food was delicious. The level of care they provided was top notch. My guests were impressed and we all had a great time. Highly recommended; would return.

Our date night spot. I like the light & flavorful seafood with a southern touch. Husband likes the giant pork chop! I love that they have added mocktails in addition to all the adult beverage options. Sometimes you want a fun drink without the alcohol! The creme brulee was perfectly executed!

Our go-to spot in Auburn for fine dining! Chef Simpson and his team do an exceptional job! The welcoming staff and creative menu offerings always make the experience enjoyable. Thanks for all you do to take care of your guests. We always feel appreciated. Looking forward to returning soon!

Every single experience here has been phenomenal. We drive from Columbus to Auburn solely for The Depot. Tonight we started with the oysters as usual - you can't go wrong with any of them. Shrimp, scallops and filets for mains were fantastic as always. The torched Alaska with hints of star anise and rose coupled with Mama Mocha's coffee was a divine ending. Perfect for date nights, special occasions and any time you want to treat yourself.
