One of my favorites in Auburn. Excellent service and delicious food with great wine pairing options. The location downtown is fantastic - cozy and intimate with a cute patio. While we live walking distance from the other location this one is our go-to. Staff is always friendly but it can get pretty busy so it will be nice if they took reservations.

Everything about this place is top notch. The food is very good, the ambiance is awesome and the staff is super friendly. In a town with many great places to eat this is as good as any. I have not venture far on food though. Each time I have been there I have had the green fried tomatoes appetizer (and I don’t like green fried tomato’s), the crab cake appetizer and the filet with the crab cake topping. They were all unbelievable. This is a definite must try for any foodie.

Nice neighborhood feel with friendly staff. Everyone from host to server was welcoming and attentive. We enjoyed all of our dishes (awesome red snapper special, shrimp and grits, turkey club, Gouda mac & cheese) and they have a full service bar. The live music was a bit loud but was a really nice extra.

My friend and I had our dinner here 2 nights ago. The place was full so we waited 25 minutes before we were seated. The waiting time was reasonable since we did not put a reservation. Our plates were served in time and the food were good. I also had a glass of Hocus Pocus which I really enjoyed. The interior is not quite big but has several sittings. They also have a bar, if you only want to drink. Because it is located in downtown Auburn, and so parking very near is kind of an issue, but public/garage parking areas are just walking distances away.

Great service, great drinks, and I really appreciate the delicious hummus appetizer as a vegan option. Wish they had more for vegans but what they do have is really well done with the pickled vegetables. I only wish I could ever find a seat at the bar!

I’ve been here many times, and they never fail to disappoint. I ended up there again today by chance, and they did not disappoint on anything that we ordered. We have always enjoyed the atmosphere of their outdoor dining just off of the sidewalk on a covered patio with ceiling fans to help keep cool on a nice day.

We started with crab cakes; they were light, moist, had a good crust, and the sauce complimented the seasonings perfectly. These are now what I will measure all other crab cakes against.

Cranberry chicken salad:
Perfect blend of light fare for a warm day. The tartness of the cranberries paired perfectly with the chicken salad.

Chicken finger sandwich:
This has always been a favorite of mine, but the chicken was fried and seasoned perfectly. The plating was exceptional for a sandwich, and whomever was working in the kitchen had an eye for detail.

Creme brûlée:
First time having it, but it was exceptional.

We usually dine at the Hamilton's On Ogletree due to better parking, but occasionally treat ourselves to this downtown Auburn location for lunch! The food is always great and the atmosphere is equally exciting. Would highly recommend the crab cakes, which didn't last long enough for us to even photograph!

Lunch hot roast beef and mahi mahi burger was excellent. Best thing was the grapefruit martini that is seasonal. Bar service is excellent. Busy busy but they got us in fairly quick. We ended up just getting four appetizers since they all looked good. Tuna dip and spinach/artichoke dip was really good. Fried green tomatoes were a miss for me but presentation was excellent. Looking forward to going back and trying some of the dinner items.
