So as I stand here the so called “tax professional” decided my taxes were not important and never even bothered to show up. Do what you will with that information. Who wants to do taxes with someone who can’t even make the time to be here when scheduled? u003c— This happened at my first location. They sent me to a second location after which is why I’m also reviewing this location as a one star because the manager told me and another couple to fight it out on who would go next after we had already dealt with not being seen in the first place. This is not even worth it anymore.

UPDATE***** I called the number and they are trying to fix it. I am going to go another tax service because Jackson Hewitt sent me to a second location and I was still skipped at the actual office as well. I’m not dealing with this anymore.

New update*** totally unprofessional just don’t even bother trying to get a resolution. Go anywhere else for taxes.

We were very pleased with our experience with our tax preparer this year. She prepared them quickly without a lot of chitchat so that we could get out of there and go on with our day. She also gave us a great discount, that we were really grateful to receive. Thank you Alabaster store!

Hope Arnold is very proficient. This is the 2nd year I have used her for my tax prep.
I had to call JH for 2 days before I could make an appointment with her. The phone kept rolling to another JH location where, if it was answered at all, I was told that Hope was busy with another client, and I would need to call back. When I called back, multiple times, the phone again rang and rang so I assumed everyone was still busy so I would hang up. The final time I called an out-of-breath female finally answered (with small children screaming in the background), and I was given a 1:30 appointment with Hope for the next day.

I arrived on time but Hope was not able to get to me until 2:45 because she had to take her co-worker's client because the co-worker was late to work that day. The co-worker who was late was an African American male, and I believe his name is Jimmy (?).

I like Hope and feel that she does a good job, and I would like to stay with her next year. But, through no fault of her own, your "system" makes it very difficult to work with her. It shouldn't be this hard to get my taxes done.

Ashley Cox helped me with my tax returns and we walked in around 30 minutes to close and she greeted us with a friendly face and pleasant attitude. She was very knowledgeable in her work and took care of us! If you want a great experience doing your taxes go see Ashley at the Jackson Hewitt in Alabaster!!
