Buddy comes in every day. He loves making bbq. If you never tried buddy’s bbq you should., Everything is amazing.

Always good, whether it’s a sandwich, plate, or even salad. And the fresh fried skins are amazing.

The food was cooked but not seasoned I order one slab of ribs, part was great and parts were too tough to chew. The back beans taxes like they came out of a can and were just heated up with no added seasons. They did put some pork sheds of meat however since the year was not seasoned then it did not make a difference. I also had coleslaw which was ok. The banana pudding could need work. I do want to say the staff was friendly and pleasant. I just wish the food I ordered was great as the compliments that others stated.

Buddy's is the best BBQ in Shelby County. It needed to be said. I have a theory I haven't given a name yet, but it's a true one. If you want good Mexican, go where the Mexicans eat. Italian, same thing. If you want good barbeque, go to the place that has zero pretense, comes from a little smoking shack on the side of the highway, and has been open for 40 years.

The barbeque is so good, but the sides are killer. These baked beans are next level, full of pork and different from your run of the mill bbq beans. There is something to this potato salad. I don't know what it is, can't place it, but it's the best potato salad I've had in my pretty long life I think.

Anyway, I have no affiliation with Buddy's. I'm not a paid spokesman. I do love me some barbeque, and I'm big picky about it. We moved around being in the military and doing gov't work. I've had just about every kind of bad BBQ there is. Do yourself a favor and stop off at this shack on hwy 31 and get the real deal. Never disappoints.

This first time I ate here I had a pork bbq sandwich. This time I had the four piece chicken finger meal with fries.

Warning the portions may be smaller than you are used to. However the food is good. Not only did I have the chicken fingers. I also had dessert.

Get the Chocolate Peanut butter Fig cake! The fig icing/jam is soooo good!

Also, the chicken sauce is really good! I used every bit of it. It had a Vinaigrette taste to it.

Even though I thought the portion was small. It was the perfect amount for me. It filled me up. Someone else it might not be enough for. I can’t wait to go back here. Oh and Buddy is the cutest sweetest thing ever!

FYI: There really isn’t any seating. Maybe one table outside.

I hadn't been to Buddy's since my 10yr old was born. I ate there almost everyday when I was pregnant with her. It was great then and still is. Their burgers are among the best I've had. The owner and the young lady who cooks are very friendly. Oh let's not forget the cake. Must have!! Will def be back to see if those ribs are still as good as they were.

If you want quantity in a burger then this is the place, but quality is lacking. It's basically meat slapped on a grill with no seasoning and thrown on a bun. Nothing special
