Dive bar meets grandma’s living room. Don’t knock it until you try it!! Very friendly staff and a unique experience for those visiting out of town.

If you want to feel like you're at auntie's house during the holidays, this is the place for you, super cozy atmosphere to fun birds, one that gave cat call whistles to me as I walked by charming little fella! Stop by this place I assure you you'll enjoy the gift shop and the company of a happy bartender

Nice, small, but quite little Bar at the bottom of the Hill. Great service, friendly staff. Locals tell stories of Old and New. Half way Bar they call it, between Homer, and Kasilof. Beer is Cold, and Laughter can be found.

I love this authentic old-time Alaska bar. It's like stepping back in time. Interesting memorabilia. The building is one of the original Kenai Peninsula Roadhouses, continuously operating since 1954. On site is an historic smokehouse built in 1961, and I was invited to visit the greenhouse garden. The locals were very friendly when I went in.
This is a great stop to bring visitors to get a feel for the real Alaska!
Sleeping Lady Gifts has great prices and I and some seasonal dock worker friends went in to do early Christmas shopping. We got great bargains on Alaskan jewelry and crafts to take home. They have free camping, a couple cabins and it's a good stop for wi-fi or just to use your phone since I drive back and forth a lot, and it's the only spot for a few miles where I can get reception.

Stopped by on our way back from Homer. April is a great lady. The gift shop has many one of a kind gifts. Service and prices are outstanding. Stop by for a blast from the past.

This place is byfar the most nicest and better people type, I met the owner Bart's mom I helped with work outside (I'm 14 and a male so I cant go in) I moved tires and helped with estimated (250-600) potato's for free except charging my phone and they gave me a reward to take home I say to go here for drinos and stuff the owner is very nice!

Cute little place built in the 50's! Lots of Alaska memorabilia, a still standing piece of Alaskan history.

It's a must if you're in the area. Absolutely classic, April was super nice and we had a blast.
