We came down to visit for the weekend and decided to stop in at the Schnitzel Bomber and we’re so glad we did. This is some of the best food we’ve eaten since living in Alaska. The service was amazing, the gentleman was super passionate and kind. We ordered the fried chicken sandwich as well as the pork schnitzel and truffle fries. Everything was top notch and he even threw in a bread pudding for us to try (which was just as amazing). The portion sizes were huge with plenty to take home and enjoy later. We will definitely be back. If you’re in Soldotna, stop by and go enjoy a great meal.

This hidden gem has a great local reputation and was recommended by our fishing guide. The breaded pork schnitzel is absolutely delicious. The outdoor gazebo was the perfect place to enjoy this take out only restaurant. If you're in the area, definitely a must do!!

We had been told they have the best burgers on the peninsula. Well let me tell you that is 100% right!! I had the mushroom Swiss burger tonight!!!! Oh my goodness I don't even have words!!! Juicy; full of flavour, delicious, incredible are a few of the words that I would use.
My husband had the chicken sandwich which was delicious also.
To be honest we have never had a bad meal here!!!
It is always spot on every time ????????

Highly recommend! High quality, big quantity food for a reasonable price. This was some of the best food we had on our trip to Alaska! The chicken schnitzel was delightful; moist and tender on the inside, and a nice crunch outside. And the warm German salad! Oh, my! Amazing!! Hubs loved his burger & fries.

Delicious! We had two different locals recommend The Schnitzel Bomber, and I’m so glad we listened! We tried the Hot Mess and the Nashville Hot special, and both were fantastic and reasonably priced. The cabbage and fries were also amazing.

I'm just a new Alaskan.. came from northern Wisconsin and wow everyone has to try this place.. the food is like art you won't ever regret eating here. I don't know if the owners are the ones working but whoever was working tonight enjoy those beers your food is delicious..

Had the pork schnitzel and some type of bread pudding. The schnitzel is enormous, the mashed potatoes are real and so good. That bread pudding makes me want to come back from AZ for more. So good!

Food was the kind of quality you get from the best of restaurants and yet had the good qualities that one would expect from the best homemade comfort food. That's not even including the absolutely awesome, friendly and fast service. As if that's not enough, the price was very reasonable too!

The only downside, I live in the lower 48, a long ways away, BUT, I will go out of my way to stop here again whenever I am near Soldotna! If I lived nearby, I think I'd swing by at least monthly, possibly weekly.

To think I was going to buy some chain fast food garbage while passing through... I would have definitely missed out! I cannot recommend The Schnitzel Bomber enough!
