They're having okay Chinese food but the price I was paying for I don't think it's worth it but the waiter she was very helpful and just keep coming back to checkout us on the water. And do we need any thing.

Love their food, but certain employees are much more accommodating than Others. You can buy the buffet to go and when I go closer to closing time. The son of the owners (believe that's who it is) will actually ask what dishes they may be low on and they will whip out whatever u desire (granted its a dish from the buffet tables) to replenish the buffet for your to-go box. The blonde waitress did not do this so I was definitely a little disappointed about this. But the food I was able to get was still up-to par with what I've come to expect from this place. This is the only place on the Kenai Peninsula that I would even recommend to get your Chinese food from period.

My wife and I have eaten at the China Sea Restaurant many times. We always get the buffet, and the food is normally very good for Chinese food in Alaska. I will admit that the buffet is not always stocked to capacity, but given the population in this area, the food would get a little old just sitting there. It's nice to have fresh food brought out as the portions get less. Plus, how much food can you eat? No need to fill your plate, not eat everything, then have it thrown in the trash. The waitress is very kind and attentive. Prices are a little higher than we would like, but everything in town is sky high.

I love the environment of the place, It has your basic assortment of Asian food (orange chicken, fried rice, broccoli beef) they do have some sushi rolls they put out that are pretty good. And has a cute little soft serve ice cream machine. Honestly a pretty decent place, worth the cash.

Not too many options but the food is pretty good. They bring out smaller quantities to refill food so the food is always fresh even if you come close to closing. Crab rangoons, egg rolls, soup, and honey chicken were my favorite. Fried shrimp for dinner is really good also. Service is always very attentive and friendly!

They call it "China Sea" but its more like "Wait and see."
The buffet was empty almost the entire time, and in the 45 minutes we waited for them to refill the buffet, they only would bring out single serving sizes for each dish so every fat person was playing bumper rolls to get to the buffet and fight over the noodles and rice each time a dish was brought out.

This is the least authentic (Chinese) food we have ever had. They water down their sweet & sour sauce, no veggies in their dishes, & a empty buffet most of the time. Mongolian beef had literally no flavor. The ice cream is runny & wasn’t creamy. They do know how to make a decent pot of tea & the soup was good.

The food was borderline disgusting! Not enough food, soup was water with onions & 2 slices of zucchini! Could not chew steak, seasame chicken tough! Ordered & paid for tea, was never refilled! Had to ask for extra napkin to spit out food I could not chew! Kitchen staff of (one) kept coming out & Fluffing up food & only added as needed! I understand COVID has taken a toll on most restaurants! This was one of my favorite places to go! Years ago! Never ever will I go there again! From a Texan spending time in Alaska ???? this is a) -1) for the me! Don't waste your time & money here!!!
