Really good food, priced reasonably (considering the quality).

This place is busy, but we were lucky enough to snag a late reservation.

We started with sourdough bread, and wondered if we should regret not choosing the Thunderdome. Fettuccine with dark meat chicken was good, as was the bread pudding.

Although we didn't sample any of the spirits, they have a diverse wine and beer selection.

Really good Italian fare. In Boca al Lupo is not a really fancy place but the food is excellent and the service is good. The portion size is very large. I highly suggest the Thunderdome as an unusual and delicious starter. We split it four ways and still had some leftover. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that likes Italian food.

What a wonderful dinner experience! Everything pictured is made in house, and I was thoroughly impressed. The pasta was cooked perfectly and a very unique find. For the funghi pizza, both the pizza crust and bottom were crispy and cooked to perfection. I even had the chance to see it made in front of me! The ice cream was very creamy and delicious - a wonderful end to a great meal! Service was quick and attentive as well :)

The walk in standing around the closed front door was a sign of good site.
It sharpened open at 7 pm with a smiling woman greeting the guests, most of them straight to the bar, no reservations we had

My son ordered a pizza and I had the spaghetti pomodoro with meat balls.

The pizza was amazing ( wooden fire ) , the pasta was “al dente” and the meat balls were very good.

The pomodoro sauce was weak for an Italian spot. Not red enough and tasteless.
That’s the proof for naming yourself Italian: pomodoro sauce…

I really liked that they offer a non alcohol cocktail menu!

I'm a New York Italian, and this place exceeded all my expectations! A nice glass of wine followed by some delicious rigatoni and meat sauce with a perfect sprinkling of parmesan. And that fresh homemade bread? I could make a meal of that alone! Just ... wow! I'll definitely be back. My only suggestion, you served ziti pasta, not rigatoni. If your whole fork can't slide into the pasta it's not rigatoni. Other than that, 5 out of 5!

We have been in Juneau for one week, and have been taking advantage of the eating and drinking before the first cruise ships arrive.

An amazing discovery, that had been recommended daily, Next, upon constant recommendation, was Bocca Al Lupo, and were not disappointed. Pro Tip: Make reservations and dine here. It is a must. Awesome food, great wine and beer–and our server, Timo? The best. The music playing overhead was country, which oddly fit perfectly, into this eclectic, unique, simply sophisticated place. What they are famous for, and what you must try, is the wood-fired pizza, cooked in a rock oven that sits in the corner and is adorned with Waylon stickers.

Chef Beau Schooler came out and chatted with us; once again, reminding us how much we feel at home in Juneau.

I’ve been going here since they’ve opened and I’ve never had a bad meal. The service has been excellent, the food is incredible, and they provide a relaxing ambiance to enjoy with friends and family. You can never go wrong starting with the thunderdome and caesar, and their spaghetti and meatballs is a classic hit for any occasion. However, I had to write this review because their current special might be one of the best dishes I’ve ever tasted. It’s a sautéed halibut that seems to just melt in your mouth paired with a citrus sauce that is out of this world. Not to say their other specials pale in comparison, but this one seems to just hit on a different level.

Such a funky place with incredible food! Definitely try the Thunderdome app ... It's pizza dough covered in garlic butter and parmesan and you won't be disappointed! Also the Tiramisu is as good as any I've had in Italy!
