Northern Alaska Tour Company gave us and unforgettable experience during our recent trip. We had told our travel agent that we would like to cross the Arctic Circle, and he booked us a flight with NAT. We thought that would be the "big deal", and our flights to and from Cold Foot were quite memorable. We were thankful for our experience pilot, Rob! But honestly, the most memorable part of the tour happened once we landed. Our guide Andy drove us along the Dalton Highway to visit Jack, a year-round resident of Wiseman. Jack opened his home to our small group and shared with us what it is REALLY like to live in Alaska's interior. It was very special and very educational. This tour was truly a once in a lifetime experience. Highly recommend!

Went on the Artic Circle Fly & Drive tour. Was the highlight of our trip to Alaska. The plane ride to Cold Foot was fun and informative and the drive back was great. Our bus guide, Vanessa, kept us all entertained and well fed with snacks along the way. We didn't get to stop at all the usual spots due to a rapid wolf in the area and construction at the Dalton Highway sign but her concern for safety first was greatly appreciated.

What would have taken days we did in hours and saw things we would have never been able to see by car. Travis was our pilot and was extremely knowledgeable, professional and accommodating.
The trip to Coldfoot and Gates to the Arctic tour was just amazing. It was well worth it, you won't be disappointed!

We took a tour with this company recently and had such a good time! We chose the 3 day package to Coldfoot Camp and were blown away by the experience!

The first day we were taken up the Dalton Highway on a tour bus. The tour included multiple stops including at the Arctic Circle. Our guide Tim was super informative and personable.

After the Arctic Circle we were shuttled to Coldfoot Camp for our stay.

On Day 2 we took a tour of Wiseman, and on Day 3 we enjoyed a fat tire bike trip next to the Koyokuk River.

All of the staff were awesome and took really good care of us.

Finally, we were taken back to Fairbanks via plane where we departed for home.

Can’t recommend this company enough! So much value built into their tours!

We had a super trip up the Dalton highway to the Arctic circle. It was bumpy but worth every jolt! We saw 2 moose along the way. Our guide Vanessa was very knowledgeable and you could tell she loved her job.

We loved another Alaska Tour Company. We did the tour of Arctic Circle and aurora viewing of 2 nights stay at Coldfoot. It’s a long review as we had an interesting journey.

Our guide Jeremy (from Fairbanks to Arctic Circle) was very good, friendly and knowledgeable. He talked us through the entire journey to the Arctic Circle.
In our trip, unfortunately one of the day tour bus got stuck in snow at the first rest area. The other guide Aaron and our guide Jeremy opened the General store there and made all the tourists of both the buses feel very comfortable by providing food and beverages there until we got help. Finally the snow cleaning truck came for help and we were soon out of there.
Jeremy also made quick stops at Dalton highway sign and enchantment forest (which was just amazing and beyond description).
We reached Arctic circle and eventually to Coldfoot late at night but the journey wasn’t regretting at all. It was fun and memorable ????
We had another guide Steve Duffy from arctic circle to Coldfoot basecamp and for aurora viewing (we saw the lights) and also for mountain safari. He was also fun and amazing guide. We got to know so many things from this trip.
We returned from Coldfoot by small flight which was also very smooth ride.
Thank you Northern Alaska tour company for making our first trip to see the northern lights unique and memorable!! ????

I had the trip of my lifetime on a tour to the Arctic Circle with Northern Alaska Tour Company. We did the fly/drive southbound winter adventure, where we flew north to Coldfoot and drove back down to Fairbanks on the Dalton Highway. It was an unforgettable experience! The fly/drive was a bit more expensive but well worth it; if we did the driving-only tour we probably would have spent 15+ hours going up and down on the same road. On the fly/drive, we got an amazing view of northern Alaska from a little 9-seater plane, and also got to experience traveling via tour van on the Dalton Highway— both were essential to the experience. It wasn't nearly as long as the driving-only tour would have been, but it was still a very long day— make sure you drink some coffee because some of us ended up in a food coma after lunch/dinner. But it was an action-packed tour; we got to sled down a hill on the Alaskan tundra, get up close to the Alyeska pipeline, walk on the frozen Yukon River, drink water straight from a natural spring, climb up a rock in the middle of a blizzard, see a creepy abandoned car on the side of the road, and so many other crazy unique things. The tour guides were SO knowledgeable, fun, and interesting to talk to. They really made the tour incredible. They customized the trip based on what we were down to do (if you don't want to leave the tour van in -12° temps and high wind, you don't have to). You may think that the Alaskan landscape won't be as beautiful in the winter, but you'd be so wrong— it was absolutely breathtaking. The entire tour was phenomenal and I would do it again in a heartbeat. Truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. My only complaint was that we didn't really see any wildlife, but everything else more than made up for that!

We went on the Midnight Sun Arctic Circle tour with Wes. He was the best. He made the tour so much fun and shared so many interesting things. He was so kind. Thank you for a great tour!
