A friend and I caught what may have been the last beautiful summer day of the year at this new establishment. Their menu is absolutely phenomenal; far better than usual good brewpub grub. The view of Big Lake was a perfect backdrop for our experience and we can't wait to come back on a Trivia Night!

Alexis did a great job running a one-woman operation at the time we were there!

I recently visited Susitna Brewing in Big Lake, Alaska and was thoroughly impressed with the experience. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor has a rustic charm to it and there was a pleasant aroma of brewing beer in the air.

The menu at Susitna Brewing offers a wide variety of options with something for everyone. Their burgers are juicy and cooked just right, with several topping options to choose from. The wings are also delicious and come with a variety of sauces. But my personal favorite was the fried cheese curds; they were crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside, making for the perfect appetizer.

What impressed me the most was the selection of beers available. Susitna Brewing offers their own house-made beer as well as other local breweries. The beer was fresh and flavorful, with a variety of styles to choose from. They also have a full bar and a great selection of cocktails, so everyone can find something to sip on.

On Tuesdays, Susitna Brewing hosts trivia night which is a fun and unique experience with a variety of questions for everyone. And on the weekends, they offer live music which really adds to the overall atmosphere of the restaurant.

Lastly, I have to mention the staff who were incredibly friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu offerings. They made me feel welcomed and truly made my dining experience an enjoyable one.

In summary, Susitna Brewing is a must-visit restaurant when in Big Lake, Alaska. With delicious food, fresh and flavorful beer, exciting events, and amazing staff, this place has it all. I highly recommend giving them a try!

The place is beautiful! Excellent service. Try the pretzels and cheese sauce. The steak didn't need the blue cheese sauce.

Good portion size, modern and clean Atmosphere. Fantastic outdoor sitting area too with games to play!
Great beverage selection and Sunday is open mic night!
First time but will be back later for sure! Thanks Susitna Brewing!
Even the bathrooms got class!

It’s a brewery, and they were out of their own beer, 2 different types. They offered Guinness as an alternative option. Not a good thing.
The beer Mac n cheese was delicious, the added chicken wasn’t worth it though. The burger was over cooked, would not recommend that or order again. Every restaurant should be able to make a decent burger.
Great location for being on the lake though

What a great meal, and service was outstanding! Food was DELICIOUS with good portion sizes!

We were lucky enough to go on "open mic" night, enjoyed entertainment by some very talented musicians.

I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a really good meal with a lovely view.

The food wasn’t that good. Had a bland French dip while the cheese curds were extremely salty. Half the beer was out of stock and the ones they had wouldn’t be anything to write about. The location is beautiful and the venue is nice. I think that’s all it has to offer.

We only had a ck salad which was good. We went to see the band and have drinks. It was a great experience. Loved how they opened the wall of the stage so the band could be seen in/out
