We had a lot of fun. The jewel lake jamboree had several things to do & great food. The park/ playground is really nice with swings, climbing equipment, slides, etc.

Excellent time ice fishing with my granddaughter. They had poles and bait to use in the holes they drilled in the ice. Plus, they even stocked the lake with fish to ensure a successful afternoon for the kids.

This is a great "Neighborhood" Park. Unfortunately, there is only around 6 tables there. And when there is more then 1 table makes it difficult to have several Parties there. When we had ours, there was 2 other Parties going on. One Party had about 50 attendees. And we actually kinda left ours a little early due to another Party needing the tables.

They've updated the playground area for children, my own three absolutely love the new swings & equipment-especially the pirate theme! The dining area is the same, nicely covered, kept clean by the Department & by users. The field is always kept up, with scheduled trimmings-just watch out for the goose droppings! The lake is gorgeous, sandy area for swimming, wading, & fishing areas are superb. Beautiful. Keep an eye out for the wildlife though if you're new, this is where the territory is for a moose family, they teach future generations to return, plus grebe, geese, ducks, eagles, etc. Trout & some rock fish looking type of fish in the lake. Enjoy!

It was wonderful to go to the playground and watch my grandsons play in the water- I didn't realize it was a short walk down the street from me

We love playing at Jewel Lake. However, swimmers' itch is inevitable.
