David the pick up manager is just amazing always takes care of me and knows my name. I love shopping here and even the gal at Starbucks is great! You can’t beat the kind of customer service they give! Always stocked

I was walking into the grocery store entrance with my mom and near the carts a female manager was yelling in the cart collectors face. She was being extremely rude to him and everyone walking in felt uncomfortable with the conversation happening. It was very rude and unpleasant the way she was speaking to him and it felt like maybe it should have been a private conversation. I would reconsider how Safeway speaks to their employees when asking them to complete a task.

One of the worst grocery stores I have been in.
No one was will to help. The girl at the deli counter barely acknowledged me. When I asked where an item was the answer I got was no then she turn her back to me and would no acknowledging me anymore. The people at the meat counter completely ignored me. No help there. Then to top it off the manager was busy playing on the phone at the customer service counter. No help.
Only go if you need an off the shelf item if you can find it.
Avoid this store.

Love the Anthem Safeway. Clean store, well stocked and competitively priced. Great hot plates of boneless wings too. Don't merge with Frys

Remodel looks good and the organization of the store is okay however door still has a bunch of poor rotation problems. Went shopping the other night and ran into four separate occasions of very expired food. When I told the two people at the checkout they didn't seem to care.

I won’t be returning. When I went in last evening there were no carts available. Being handicapped, I was ok with a ride on cart. There was stuff parked in the middle of the aisles. They were out of 1 gallon 2% milk. The ride on was running out of power by the time I got to the checkout after just a moderate amount of shopping. Only one checkout out open. The cashier was not personable or helpful. I had to load the poorly bagged items back into the cart myself. Luckily the lady behind me offered to help me out with my groceries. I also think their prices are higher than the competition. Sad. Safeway used to be a very good place to shop

Worst management I've ever dealt with. Try to ask a question she just keeps on walking, then makes her employees "deal with me". Her employees are nicer. Can only imagine how they're treated.
