I live around the corner and literally come to Safeway instead of Fry’s across the street so I don’t have to make extra lefts. This supermarket is quiet and clean and I like the bakery department but for the life of me I don’t understand why it is always understaffed. This morning a perfect example. Stupidly I grab a $5 sale item of a 6 pack of beer to go with my dozen donuts and head to self checkout. Totally get that the machine needs to verify I’m 21 but the lone human working, Mike, seems to be tied up with a customer giving him what looked like 6 coupons for olive oil. After standing there with another lady also stuck in alcohol verifier h*ll, I yell, can someone help us. That gets Mike to come over with a sarcastic comment, “this guy is more important.” I get it, I’m being a Richard, but seriously, you can’t staff a supermarket with more than one person in the morning?

We like Safeway a lot the store is very clean the help is very nice. Once you get used to the app they've got some terrific deals. Everything's a pleasant experience,
I would recommend shopping there to everyone.

The video shows the “level of Customer Service” … not any response or acknowledgment from any of them that we had walked in. Switched to AT&T today.

I always have to stop in and grab the $5 deals on Friday! I can not pass up the great bargains. I prefer to save as much money as possible not spend extra.

This is a shootout to Anthony at Safeway Gas Station on Cave Creek and Tatum, he is amazing! The gas pump malfunctioned and he was so calm, and took care of the situation. Thank you Anthony

Not a bad store. . Not the newest. . Not always bets process and not aways stocked. . . Finally got self check out Not too long ago

The deli is always closed due to staffing issues. Yet there is someone behind the counter majority of the time. The meat department smells bad. Very high priced compared to other stores. Not very friendly either.
