I had lunch here this past week, excellent service. I was seated pretty quickly. Portion sizes were extra large and the price was more than fair. Would recommend this place.

This is my favorite place to eat of all time. The food is consistent and has tasted the same my entire life. I recommend the enchiladas (any of them) and top shelf fajitas!

Well as painful as it is to do this review ???? El Chico's is on the decline. The food is not what it used to be or what it should be. Service isn't terrible but could be better. The food is becoming very bland and under cooked. The salsa is now the consistency of water. I would love to update this review and see this place turned around.

Ate here and wasn't too impressed. They need a new recipe for their salsa, says only made with fresh tomatoes and jalapenos but being a food connoisseur I know better. It is not Mexican salsa, it is sweet. Probably would not go back. Sorry...was looking forward to eating at an El Chico but left a little disappointed. Our waiter was great as well as the host and service was great!

Great Mexican restaurant here in Texarkana! I'd say the prices are decently priced and they also have a children's menu which is great. Our server was very friendly and the place was comfortable and not too rowdy. They also have a bar available and great complimentaries. A great stop for some food!

Our fajita bowl was amazing and delicious! Our server was very sweet. Food came out timely as well. The bathroom left some to be desired. ???? Would go back and would recommend for the food!

The food tasted. OK nothing great nothing bad. I ordered fajitas to go and when I get to my hotel room, I realize they didn’t give me tortillas. Who serves fajitas without tortillas. I tried calling the restaurant five times and it went to voicemail every time.

Good food at a reasonable price. Everything was clean and staff was courteous. I visited on a Thursday night and there was plenty of seating, even at the bar.
