Stopped at the place advertised on the 2nd billboard I saw. That’s just me , and I’m happy about it. Got both the pulled pork sandwich and ribs, with potato salad and the complimentary Pinto Beans. Choice of 4 sauces and a little dress up bar with Jalapeños, onions and cucumbers. I chose the tangy sauce over the regular. The regular reminded me of a flavor from Memphis and the tangy was unique. And it sticks with you a bit. Enjoy.

Stopped here for dinner, my eleventh 'cue stop in Arkansas and 370th in a 35 state odyssey. I went with a loaded baked potato (pork), and two fried pies (apricot, cherry) for $18.17. The potato was gigantic, and very well prepared. The pork had a good mix of bark and meat, and was a good sized serving, but with minimal smoke. It required a house sauce to bring it to life. The pies were good-sized, but thin. More fruit filling would not be out of order.

Awesome service. Phenomenal customer service. Great food. We love Big Jakes bbq. They always have a smile on their faces and they are always so willing to help you. The free pinto beans are absolutely amazing. The tangy bbq sauce is amazing. If you are looking for great bbq and want a great experience this is the perfect place to go.

In town for a few days, wanted some good BBQ.
I went to Big Jake's and was not disappointed.
The BBQ was great and so we're the side dish's.
The next time I'm in town I got to stop by Big Jake's BBQ.

1. Very rude. The kids that work there have not been raised right. No respect.
2. Always out of something. Never have a I seen a place run out of food as much as this place.
3. Always check your to go order. It's never right and the portions are terrible.
4. Always try to close 30 minutes earlier than they should.

I eat here a lot. Unfortunately. But everytime I am appalled at the service and the food. This night though in just really had to share my thoughts. The portions, the freshness and the staff are always bad. Everytime. Not just once in awhile. Avoid this location at all costs. I'm currently eating these little pieces of brisket that taste like they are from yesterday's left overs. Pictured is a $10 meal. What a joke.

They have the best pork ribs in town. I always order a pound. 2 day leftovers. Great fried okra, Mac and cheese, pinto beans. And the best, juicy pies. They honor the military, patches framed on their wall.

The food is always amazing! BUT why would you close at 8 on Friday????
Showed up at 8:02 had to beg my way in!!! Eat off the tailgate of my truck and one long dark haired girl and a sour face on her like she couldn’t be bothered ????. While I was eating off my tailgate I must’ve seen 10 cars pull in to get something to eat. I paid $30 for my tailgate feast and every car had more than one person in it… the money lost is unfortunate for a company if one does the math!

Menu says 1 meat with baked potato and 1 side. When they rang it up, it sounded high. I got back to my table and realized they charged me two dollars extra for the sliced beef. The menu does not say only chicken, and they don’t tell you it’s two dollars extra. So watch you ticket at big Jake’s. So 11.99 for a potato and sliced beef rather than the 9.99 that’s on the menu.
