Ate here for the first time and loved it! They have tons of chicken dinners and they’re well known for their fried chicken. I got the baked chicken special and it was really good. They also have homemade rolls and cornbread which are phenomenal. Great service and friendly people. Would definitely come back again!

Don Neal (the owner) is very nice! We had a great first experience! The bacon omelette is very good, and I love that it comes with sides! I got the hash browns and biscuit with gravy! We also got refills on our coffees in a timely manner! 10/10 We will be back! The decor is also very cute! It’s a pink building, so it’s hard to miss!

It's a step back in time to when food was real, excellent service was expected and the help acted like they enjoyed working and serving the public. Mandy showed genuine interest, brought us perfectly executed fried chicken with taters, green beans and slaw, and the homemade rolls are just ???? ???? ???? ???? ????.
Didn't save room for pie but we know how delicious it is from previous visits. There will always be next time!

Fried chicken is the best around. Large verity of sides most dinners are served with 3 sides all are cooked like a real southern grandmother's recipe pies are made from scratch I love the cream pies no frozen crust ????

My friend in Springfield kept going on about Neal's. So when I had the chance to visit, I jumped at the chance.
First off, friendly staff. Made you feel like a long lost friends.
Second. Server was really helpful with our menu choices. Then went to the next level to provide the best service ever. We both ordered fried Jalapeños. So they fried those first and brought it out as a sort of appetizer. Best ones I've ever eaten hands down.
Third. Both meals were scrumptious. In fact I'm eating their leftovers as I type this.

My friend said he'd come back for a weekend visit just to eat here. He lives in Kansas City, MO. If that's not a declaration of love; I don't know what would be.

Awesome place to eat. Portions are large. The pies are incredible! If you are a fan of Cracker Barrel—this is a step up!!

I complained about my hash browns being under cooked cold and soggy the service lady said just tell the guy which we did after we payed than he says "are you trying to get a free meal ?" After we payed and refused to belive the complaint was real and tried blaming us for letting it sit to long when we took a bite when it first cam out and had to go throw up in the bathroom because of them. Don't ever go there for breakfast or if the old guy is there unless you want to be blamed for your food not being cooked

Chicken was a little better than okay. We like our chicken seasoned more than it was. Sides were very good and no shortage of portions. Enjoyed the lemon pie. Older cafe worth a try. Maybe breakfast next time.
