Just okay. To preface this review, I’m allergic to raw tomatoes and occasionally, there will be a cooked tomato-based sauce that aggravates this allergy and their pizza sauce is definitely one of them. It wreaks havoc on me so I can’t eat their red sauce so truthfully, anytime I think of pizza, it’s not Gusano’s.
With that said, I came here with a group and ordered an Italian beef sandwich. 10/10 DO NOT recommend. The meat was soooo dry, the bread was super hard, and it did not taste good at all. Our waitress never came back to check on us after we got our food so I did not have the opportunity to ask for something different until we asked another waitress for help. By this time, everyone was done with their food so I requested a ham and cheese sandwich to go. Their cheese bread is really good and the ham sandwich ended up being good, too. My son ordered the carnivore pizza and he liked it. So the food is not all bad, the experience as a whole just left a lot to be desired. Check them out, though. Their pizza might just be what you’re missing from your life! Lol

My wife and I ordered two carnivore crustless pizzas and a super salad. It cost us $46. What we received was nothing more than a couple of bites of toppings and a small salad. This is unacceptable service and quality. The person who took our order was rude and very unhelpful. We will no longer go back to Gusano's in Tontitown.

EDIT: While my first visit to this location was excellent, the following two visits were horrendous.

They served me, on two separate and consecutive visits, a Chicago pizza where all the sauce and cheese had leaked out into the oven before boxing. The regular (non-Chicago) style pizza is OK but nothing special. The hot dogs were very good. For me, Gusano's doesn't meet the quality expectations that their pricing implies.

Edit 2: Went back to Gusano’s again, ordered two pizzas - one Chicago, one regular. Spoke to manager when ordering and asked her to make sure it was made to spec. Arrived to pickup, pizza was made to spec. Manager attempted to tell me that I had already been reimbursed for my previous pizza (defective, cheese and sauce mostly gone) when I had not.

We go to eat lunch here at least once every two weeks, typically it's really good service, always have a friendly waitress.

However today's experience was horrible.we waited thirty mins before our drink orders were taken. People came in behind us and were taken care of before we were. We had to get our own menus as the waitress didn't seem to even notice us.
Our food was great as usual, however the waitress in an hr and 45 mins only came to check on us once to refill drinks... Got home to discover my pizza dip didn't have the chips with it either (ordered it to go) ...

When I went the first time I thought everything was fantastic. This was our second visit and everything wasn't exactly as I remember. We ordered two deep dish pizzas and instead of them feeling like deep dish it felt like a regular crust pizza with the crust high on the sides. My crust had the texture of a cracker and was super crispy. I'm sure I'll give them another try at some point, but this was definitely not Chicago style deep dish. I posted pictures the first time I went and compared with the pictures this time, not even the same pizza.

My wife called ahead an order for two pizzas. One was gluten free as she has a gluten allergy. I did not know what she ordered. I was told to pick it up. I was given what I thought was our order and walked out. I paid a little over $42 total. After making the almost 20 mile trek home, we realized we had been given someone else's order. I immediately called the store and the girl tells me "yes, your order is still here. You can just come pick it up". I explained that I didn't want to make the 20 mile drive back (almost 40 mile round trip) to Springdale and that I just wanted a refund. Since my wife has the gluten allergy, we couldn't eat any of it. She told me that she would gladly refund my money. Two weeks later while thumbing through my bank account, I realize I had not been refunded. I called the store and spoke to a manager. He apologized and told me a regional or district manager is the only one that can refund me and they would be reaching out. A week passes and I don't hear a thing. I call back and talk to a different guy. He tells me the district or regional manager tried to call me twice, but I didn't answer. I told me I had no voicemails or missed calls. He tells me I will be receiving a call. I placed my order on June 16th. As of writing this review (July 20th) and stopping by the store last week (manager wouldn't even come out of the kitchen to talk to me and leaving my number again) this issue has not been resolved. I still have not received a call. Sadly, I've never tasted Gusano's pizza and never will after the way I have been ignored and pushed aside. Customer service is what separates good business's from bad ones. Enjoy your $42 donation. This is in reference to the Springdale location, by the way.

Wow!!! Yuengling on tap ???? atmosphere is very relaxed. Food was well worth the 2 hour motorcycle ride here. Johanna rocks! She was spot on with our four orders never wrote anything down and chatting with us the whole time. Attentive but not overly so ????

Crust was very good, toppings were there, but a pizza is about the sauce and mine had zero! Truly was bread with toppings on it. Don't do chicago style and then leave the sauce off the rest of your pies! Also we did the chicago style and the sauce was great, just saying, why forget the rest or your pizza's!
