We chose to stay here while visiting family. It was a very pleasant and relaxing stay! The innkeeper was very easy to reach when needed and was polite and courteous. The room was very clean! While you can hear some traffic on main street its really only the quiet "wooshing" of cars passing. No horns, or loud vehicles and it goes almost completely silent around 9 pm. I found it peaceful. I would highly recommend ????

We loved it here! The room was spacious, breakfast was great, quiet and inviting atmosphere. I have a hard time falling asleep in hotel room - feels so artificial. Slept like a baby here. Felt like home. Beds were comfortable and clean. Would recommend and plan on staying here again when visiting family.

My girlfriend came down from California for a visit we decided to rent the wedding room. It was much bigger than the photos online made it appear. Super friendly people! I'm disabled and braved the stairs because I really wanted to stay in this beautiful room and I'm so glad that I did. We had an amazing time. We will absolutely be back and recommend this place to any and everyone. I can't speak on the breakfast because she only had 4 days here and we wanted to go out to some of my favorite places while she was here so we opted not to eat breakfast. That was no fault of the people though, it was just her and I wanting to go out for breakfast.

During check in I was neverous because I was by myself. I have severe anxiety. However they was so nice and friendly that anxiety quickly faded. It was like talking with an old friend and was a very welcoming environment.

Not told it cost more if you used a credit card until after the fact . Could not reserve the room for next year, told it was a luck of the draw at a later date.

I was in the Safari room and it was massive, clean and extremely lavish. I loved it! The room was gorgeous with huge windows that provided a lovely view of town. I had a great sleep on the soft sheets!

We were visiting our daughter and were lucky enough to get a last minute room with no reservation.The room (honeymoon) was beautiful, clean and quiet. The owner was so nice and breakfast was delicious will definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone!

I was very happy with my stay! I didn't know what to expect for a smaller town inn but I would definitely stay again - and was sad I only had a single night! Tracy was hospitable and filled with southern charm, plus her breakfast was soooo delicious!

The ambiance is kind of like a hotel, city loft, and farmhouse had a baby. Weird description but it was homey and had a trendy "southern chic" vibe, and I'm not saying any of this pejoratively. It's not a flawless place but it's obviously still cared for. Overall, it has character and charm that I found endearing, reminding me of my time growing up in Texas. Tracy has been working hard on remodeling since they purchased it and her work shows.

Hopefully I will get to visit again for a little longer! ????

Beautifully repurposed building full of history and charm. Lee is a gracious host and whips up great breakfasts .
