Being from Texas we were a little skeptical about eating Mexican food so far from home. This was a pleasant surprise! It was authentic Mexican food. The service was fantastic and the food was served quickly and hot. The guacamole Mexicano was AMAZING! You can't beat the price for the amount and quality of food either.

FOOD was very good - Pork Street Tacos, Steak Fajitas, Taco Salad. The little touches made it amazing. My street tacs came with lime wedges & roasted jalapeño slices muy rico! When I asked for Green Salsa to go with the taco's, the server lit up & said "picosa?" ”¡Sí!” It tasted delightful & was ❤️ healthy - I could feel my heart light up! ????
SERVICE was super fast! I mean REEEALLY fast.
PRICES for the Lunch Specials are some of the best I've seen!

This place was way better than we expected. We live in Minden and this place is better than any of our local options.

El Parian was quite busy on this Sunday afternoon. This was lunch for us but was closer to supper time.

I love good chips & salsa and these were great. The salsa was the real standout and better than the average red salsa at most Mexican restaurants.

Several of us ordered Petra's Special which is 3 cheese enchiladas topped with fajita chicken. The plate presentation was excellent and above average for Mexican restaurants. The food was good but I wished I had ordered a different sauce on the enchiladas. I'm not a fan of cheese enchiladas with cheese sauce. My sister said she usually orders them with the sour cream sauce but she forgot. They had a number of sauces to choose from.

The only downside was the service suffered because they were so busy but otherwise it was a great experience.

I would definitely go back for the chips & salsa and to try more dishes.

Cheese dip is good here, and staff are always kind and friendly. They can be a bit slow though or forgetful, but if you wave down a different staff member then they get things fixed fast. Definitely recommend trying it out.

This is my FAVORITE restaurant in magnolia. We go every Sunday! They are usually fast at getting orders taken and brought out. Super nice staff and owner!

I ordered the chicken habanero enchiladas. They were not good at all. It was just a tortilla with shredded chicken in it. It was not baked at all. It was very underwhelming. I should have ordered the Don Juan.
