Hands down one of the best experiences. Our server Kristen was awesome. Checked on us multiple times & food came very quickly! Highly recommend for some great seafood!
Prices were great & big portions of food!

Ward’s Catfish Hole in Hot Springs is WONDERFUL! We went on a Thursday night, and even though Wards is not on a ‘main drag’, and we were there in the 'off-season' for Hot Springs, we were impressed the parking lot was FULL! We already knew the food would be great when all the locals and the work crews from the area are present!
The layout of the restaurant is simple, open and spacious—even with the crowd! You could see the kitchen, which I like…and it was clean!
The restaurant is family-friendly.
The tables appear to be built on site, they are wooden and sturdy.
The bathrooms are spacious, freshly painted, and CLEAN!
The FOOD….the fish and crawfish were fresh, cooked perfectly and we got plenty of it.
They offer Oysters, which are not my favorite, but my family raved about them.
The Crawfish are served in ‘mounds’, in the traditional fashion. Our neighbors were enjoying them immensely.
Ward’s Catfish Hole offers a wide variety of beers and they have ‘bucket specials’.
The prices are more than fair considering the quality and portions we received.
Will we return? You bet we will!

This place was a goldmine to find for food the flavor really came thru! The service was absolutely wonderful. We loved it so much we went back twice. Both times did not disappoint. Just super sad they ran out of those amazing Alligator bites. If you stop in, it's a must try. From the pasta, crab, shrimp, meat pies, corn, oysters, jalapeños poppers, poboy crayfish sandwich, froglegs, catfish, and salad, nothing was a disappointment. We had to try just about everything. It's worth the drive if it's out of your way. Staff was ALL super friendly.
As for the segregation comment. I was seated in the back the first night myself by another family of color. It was pretty empty in the front area and back area. They seem to spread their tables out very well I thought. And the table of color was treated very well, and we had to wait at times while our waitress was attending to their needs immediately. Do not let that comment discourage you from this must try. Some people can be hard to please. This is a very welcoming place for locals and us obviously being out of towners. They care alot. We was asked several times if we liked it by multiple staff.

My family came here for dinner and they were slammed. The service was still good even when busy. The food was fantastic!! The waitress brought out one wrong plate of food, but took ownership, very humbly apologizing and corrected it. We all enjoyed this place and when we come back to town will visit again. It is better than Fisherman’s Wharf which we will not go back to.

We rode there today after all the rain had passed through, it’s a real pretty ride out there, green and lush lanes, with meadows full of wild flowers.
We were seated immediately as it wasn’t crowded, and our server was so nice and attentive. The crab cake appetizer was delightful, followed by gumbo and catfish both mouth-wateringly great, but the star of the show was their French fries, possibly up there in my top three ever tasted in my travels around the world. Don’t take my word, check out their delicious fries.
The restaurant was exactly the kind of place we love, off the beaten path, not fancy, but clean comfortable and full of southern ambience. The ladies who work there were so nice and friendly.
We can’t wait to go back with friends!

Absolutely the worst place I have ever eaten. I am writing this from my toilet with what I believe to be oncoming food poisoning. I should have trusted my gut when I saw that blonde headed woman eating in the prep area & the other lady filling to-go cups of cheese with her bare hands. No gloves seen the whole time.

I decided to give it a try since all the reviews seemed good but I regret every moment of being there. The gumbo was inedible due to under seasoning and tasted like like canned vegetable soup with extra okra. I ate two bites of the soup and sent it back. I tried to finish my fried crab claws but they were black and disgusting inside. After 2 bites of soup and 4 crab claws my vacation is now ruined because I will be stuck to this toilet. Great job team. Disgusting habits from you all.

Best crawfish in Arkansas! Their fried pies are definitely worth trying too. Even if you don't have room bc you're so full, take one to go!! That homemade icing is delicious.
