I usually only leave positive reviews, but I felt really let down after today's lunch. I probably wouldn't have been so disappointed if I hadn't heard such good things about this place. Unfortunately, my experience was anything but good.
I was seated right away, but that is where things took a turn. I sat at my table for at least 10 minutes wondering when my server was going to come around to take my drink order. Soon, another group was seated at the table beside me. After about 5 more minutes, their server came around to take their drink orders. As she was walking away, I flagged her down (yes, I hate to be that guy), to ask if she was my server as well. She informed me that she was not, but she did let mine know that I was waiting.
I had a Jalapeno Jack burger and onion rings. The food was good. I have no complaints there.
I ate my burger and finished my drink. I was never approached by my server about refilling my empty glass, more napkins, or anything else for that matter.
However, as I was cashing out, she was kind enough to ask if I wanted a drink to go.
The food was decent, but something needs to be done about the service, if this is a normal thing.

I'm not mad. I'm just disappointed.

Excellent and fast service and the food was scrumptious. Server was on top of drinks and food was served fast and hot. Kelly and Halley were so friendly and professional. We need more like them.

My recent lunch experience at Walk-Ons was so positively notable it inspired me to write this review. Our server, Tori, was so attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed and more. The manager, Kelly, came to check on us more than once. Both Kelly and Tori were promptly to the rescue when one of our children spilled a drink. The food was amazing per usual and combined with friendly and professional service it was an overall exceptional experience!

Love the spooky season Voodoo Shrimp and BLOODY Mary! This place is awesome, good food & drinks, great service and lots of TVs. Pro Tip: Ask them how to get FREE bread pudding.

The food was extremely bland. I was expecting good Cajun food and it was like they completely forgot to put any seasoning on the food. The atmosphere was good , the service was not good from the wait staff either unfortunately. This was our first experience and we extremely excited to try this place as we always see the place packed.
Our nickname for the place is now walk away .

We’ve been here a few times now. The first time we stopped by for lunch- the food was not impressive. Service was great, though, and the place was super clean.????????
Since then, we’ve discovered they have one of the best buffalo chicken sandwiches I’ve had in a while- which between that and the great service and good atmosphere is why we keep going back. The loaded fries aren’t the best- definitely need more cheese or sauces of some sort. Burgers are good. In our opinion, the pulled pork sandwich should be taken off the menu because it is just mushy, tasteless meat on a bun (again, our opinion). The hush puppies were awesome- definitely worth a try. Drinks always come out great. Some cocktails seem a little pricey. Lots of beer options on draft- love that. (Previously left a 2 or 3 star review, but it’s definitely moved up to a 4 star after a few more visits there).????????

Walked in on a busy night, and was greeted with a warm welcome and seated quickly. Kiley was my server with a smile. ;-)I asked her what her favorite menu item was, which was the grilled cheese with pork, so that let me know the pulled pork was probably delicious. I went ahead with the pulled pork sandwich with waffle fries and a sweet tea. It was spot on, a good meal to eat while watching a boxing match. Everything was quick, and even though I could tell Kiley was busy, she still managed to check on me and if I had any room left, I would have gotten that desert.

Tori our server helped us have a very pleasant experience. We have eaten at other walkons but the server went above and beyond to make our time there enjoyable. She was very courteous, professional and menu knowledgeable . We took her recommendation of boom boom shrimp and boudin balls and enjoyed them immensely. If we could give Tori more than 5 stars we would . We will be coming back and hopefully be seated in Tori's section. We will recommend others.
