We both had the chicken fried steak, mine had mashed potatoes wit okra, and my husband had mashed potatoes and turnip greens. It also came with either a roll or cornbread. Very homestyle cooking with lots of specials and choices. And don't forget the pies.

The food was good and the wait staff was friendly and prompt. It was a great little diner with that homey little diner feel. I'll definitely be back to try that pie that looked amazing.

This Restaurant has been in Fort Smith for years under different names, although I don’t know the whole story, is definitely a solid choice for home style meals. Very consistent and we do believe they have the best chicken sandwich in town (Ranch Chicken Sandwich that is, pictured. They are typically, but they have busy days, on Tuesday they have desserts for a dollar, and it very popular then.
Over all a good lunch and dinner option.

When we travel, we prefer to give patronage to locally owned and operated, smaller businesses. Mom & pop shops, if you will. When we stopped in Fort Smith recently, we quickly came upon Miss Anna's on Towson. It was well reviewed and the food in the photos looked tasty.

The atmosphere was very chill and cozy. I think we were the youngest people in there, so it was a very tame environment. The food was delicious, well-prepared and brought out shortly after ordering.

Pro tip, leave room for a piece of pie. There are many delicious, seemingly home-made pies to choose from.

The staff were all wonderfully friendly, and attentive.

Miss Anna's will be one of our staple food joints as we travel from Oklahoma to Arkansas!

The salad dressing was great. The tomatoes and onions were flavorful. The lettuce was badly wilted, even slimy in some spots. Luckily any off flavors were hidden by the dressing, but the sight harmed the experience.

The catfish was very very muddy. Luckily it was breaded with an amazing cornmeal mix and fried to perfection. The hush puppies also were a good cornbread and had a great crunch. This made the home cut fries having no crunch really stick out. They were dark like they were almost crunchy, but no such luck.

The biggest disappointments were the pies. They have awards for their pies. My father ordered a berry cheesecake, and I ordered a chocolate cream pie. My "chocolate cream pie" was actually a very tasty 1/2" thick chocolate pudding pie covered with 4" of cool whip. As I'm not a fan of cool whip this ended up being a minor disappointment I ate around. The "cheesecake" though was basically cool whip in a crust with a terrible berry jam on top and was so disappointing that between 3 of us over half of the tiny slice was left uneaten.

Always delicious here. We've gotten a lot of different items but the pie is always the best!

We had the chicken fried steak and chicken & spaghetti. They were both delicious. And we had coconut cream pie and peanut butter chocolate pie, so yummy! The service was very personal. We will go back!
