Delicious Italian food and wonderful service. Nice wine and cocktail selection, overall good value for money. Went with my girl friends and we ordered several menu items and shared desserts. The chef even came out and greeted our table. We will go again soon!

My boyfriend and I went for a belated birthday dinner for myself and the server was so sweet and kind! Brandon (our server) even offered us a free dessert. I recommend the spumoni and tortellini ala vodka with prosciutto. Great atmosphere and even better food. Definitely going to become a regular here. 10/10 hands down best Italian food I have ever had.

I heard Pesto's is not under new management and I had to try it out. The food was delicious! I didn't drink myself but they had a solid list of wines and cocktails as well. The service was friendly and made our group feel very comfortable and attended too. Give Pesto's a go!

In NWA for our weekly work trips and decided on Pesto's by Lance as another local stop (support local!). Did not disappoint! Our server Daniel was great. He was knowledgeable and attentive. Food was just fabulous, from the bread/bruschetta to dessert! Our new favorite restaurant by far!! Nice job Chef Lance and Pesto's team! Linguine with chicken alfredo and Tiramisu. Again, do not pass on the Tiramisu (my wife says it will change your life)!!! Delicious.

I’m trying not to be too hyper critical. This is the first time I’ve been here in almost 20 years the food is similar but a little bit different. I had the spaghetti and my husband had the mushroom ravioli special.

It’s nice to see that they have a full bar now and the wait staff was attentive — almost too attentive. I felt like they were trying to push us in and out as fast as humanly possible. I just got back from Europe and this is definitely not how they eat.

The tomato and bread they brought out was delicious. My spaghetti was decent. Not the best in the world but not horrible. It needed seasoning and I added some salt, it helped but the entire dish came off as slightly bland.

The mushroom ravioli was good. Deep rich mushroom flavor and rich and creamy. My husband liked it a lot. The Caesar salad was good just like I remembered.

All in all, it wasn’t bad but it wasn’t excellent either. I’d come again, but I reserve 5* reviews for places that are exceptional and version 2 isn’t exceptional…but it’s still decent.

This once was a destination place for Italian in NWA. Other places have caught up and surpassed Pesto Cafe IMO. I wish I could give them 5*, but I feel like a rating like that is earned and not just given because they’ve been around for a while. Others may feel differently and that’s okay. This is just my opinion. Please go there and try it for yourself. You may LOVE it!

UPDATE: Since changing ownership and reopening, there are definitely some differences. Much of the menu is very similar, but it's not identical. Food presentation is a bit more refined and the restaurant interior has traded the old hippie-style for a more Italian cafe look. Definitely not as funky, but a nice atmosphere that seems a little more "together".

ORIGINAL POST: This has always been a go-to for me, and will continue to be. Fresh, delicious food in a cozy, casual, Fayetteville-funky environment. Always a treat and always generous enough portions to feed me well the next day!

Food was good. Atmosphere was noisy, because the restaurant was full and everyone was having a great time. Service was attentive, but not so oppressive that we couldn't have conversations.
Salad was a bit tired, and they ran out of iced tea - but my spaghetti and meatballs was really good and the cocktails were strong.
Parking was not a problem, but the motel the restaurant shares a parking lot with was not fully occupied.
