On a gorgeous day, my friend and I enjoyed lunch outdoors here. The inside was a lovely atmosphere and the outdoor dining was quite enjoyable. I had the salmon salad and she had the blackened chicken salad. It came with a tiny free bread loaf set in a light drizzle of oil. The prices were what I expected (about $16 for a salad) in a higher end type of restaurant (definitely not fast food fare). I’ll definitely be eating here again. The service was friendly and prompt, too.

We had an event in the Banquet Room at Mermaids and I can’t say enough good things about the staff at Mermaids! Damon was unbelievably helpful and accommodating and every single person we worked with was so friendly! The room was perfect for the event and the food was delicious, but the staff makes having an event there so worth it regardless!

Luv this place, a mainstay award winning restaurant, landmark of Fayetteville AR. A must if you haven't, you'll be glad you did. For the rest of us that have enjoyed this place for a long time, thanx for all you do guys

We are from out-of-town & ordered to go since it was 8pm.We ordered the Sea Bass dinner, Salmon dinner, and stuffed mushrooms. The manager said go ahead and stay to eat. He said it would taste best eaten right away (we told him we had an hour trip back.) OUTSTANDING PROFESSIONAL Service!!! All was excellent. The best Salmon I've ever had and the crab stuffed mushrooms were Delish!!
We will go again when we are in that area for sure. Note: The evening atmosphere was super classy what an awesome feel not to mention a wonderful friendly staff! Thank you!!

Loved everything but the main dish. Food is lacking flavor and is not good. I got the mermaids Alfredo with chicken. Chicken taste like it came from a can.

Anniversary night- I had the special which was a 12oz New York Strip Steak w/ bearnaise sauce & tarragon spice which to gave it a hint of a certain smoke flavor. Hands down the best steak flavor I have had in a loooooong time! A nice cut of a good steak and this sauce is a must try! ????

Wow, what great food! Some of the most tender calamari I have ever had (in Arkansas?) We enjoyed our cocktails (French 75) and I had the salad with chicken and shrimp. Light dressing, feta cheese, with big shrimp and chicken curry to bite size. So big I took it home and he'd the rest for breakfast. Loved the bread with the drizzle butter!

We have visited this restaurant two times, each time was for a special occasion (wedding rehearsal dinners). They really decorated their special room very well. It was beautiful with all the little white lights and they treated us wonderfully with their attentive service.

The food was delicious. I especially enjoyed their shrimp pasta and the sautéed chicken dish, but everything was delicious. They treated us to a variety of desserts. I thoroughly enjoyed the dense carrot cake. It was a little different from the traditional, but I'd love to have the recipe. My wife opted for the chocolate cake and enjoyed it.
