What can I say...they are awesome!! We probably got on their nerves, they were very helpful! Very knowledgeable about the local fisheries. What we should fish with and where. They even went as far as taking my gear and rigging it up for the area. If you are fishing anything around the Beaver Lake area you have to stop by the Dam Store and check them out! From spin cast to fly fishing they are the Pros you need to talk too!

Went here to get some worms for fishing. I'm not from this area so I was trying to get some information on some fishing spots and the man wasn't helpful at all. I think he had a personality of a wet noodle to be honest with you.

Good bait shop it has been there forever. But I will say the price of there wax worms is very high especially for how small they are and how few you get. It been this way for a while. I was very disappointed

A little gas station style bait and tackle store. The store has a lot of character and a little bit of everything you need. I particularly stopped in to get some information on launching areas and locations . The store owners operators we're glad to answer questions about the area . I was very pleased.

Great selection of lures perfect for the fishing in the area. Employees are all very nice and always willing to give fishing tips. Store is very well kept.

We took their trout guide service a few years ago and it has since changed the way we fish! You will not regret taking Carl Tilley out for a day of trout fishing! You will catch lots of fish, and learn a ton along the way.

I walked in at 6:58 and was told the open sign isn’t on, we’re closed for two more minutes, go outside. It appears as the owner would prefer to be right rather than serve customers and earn a living. I have been a customer of this store 35 years. Until there is a change in ownership I’ll not be back. It is hard to support local businesses when the owner refuses to help himself. July 31, 2022 and the weather is beautiful. Unfortunately, I am forced to take the money I was going to spend at the Beaver Dam Store to Bass Pro. ????
