While the fish were a decent size, the crust had a taste of burnt or old cooking oil.The slaw was different, the fries were good.

I am an African American woman and I purchase $15 dollars in catfish from this place on August 2,2022. The owner knowing sold me some spoil fish. I noticed that he washed the fish longer than usually because it shouldn't have been that dirty coming out of freezer. When he weighed it, the total was $16.97 but he only charged me $15. I iced it down on my way back to my house. When I got home, I put it in the freezer, I didn't notice the foul smell until several days later. It stunk so bad, I had to throw it away. I wonder did he knowing sell me this fish because of the color of my skin or he really needed the money. I will never buy fish again from White and Son's Fish Market in Des Arc Arkansas and I recommend other people not to either.

Some of us from our church drove all the way to Des Arc just to eat some great food. Christy the owner is great! Fish, Alligator, best burgers and more! Oh and home-made sweet lemonade! 100% worth the drive!

First time stopping in for two, to-go medium fillet plates last evening. Very impressed! Loved it! Fish was perfect, slaw was delicious, and those hush puppies! Sooo good! Just wish I'd went ahead with the seasoned fries since everything else was great.

We'll definitely be back!

Best frog legs I have ever ate. So much food for such a small price. Customer service was perfect. They definitely know how to take care of their customers
