5 star greetings at the door from Sadie, great table side service from Courtney. Everything on the buffet was fresh and homestyle. They have a steak menu you can add buffet to for $4.99 or have the buffet by itself. The buffet has plenty if options.

We spent the weekend at Fairfield Bay and wanted to eat out the night before we left to make things easier, so we saw Western Sizzlin about 20 minutes away and decided we would eat here. Let me preface this by saying my wife and I used to eat Wood Grill Buffet near her family in Arkansas and enjoyed it very much. Since Wood Grill and Western Sizzlin are under the same company umbrella, we figured it would be good. WRONG!

The buffet consisted of two SMALL food buffet tables, one consisted of a few meats (chicken, fish, roast beef, and something else?) and the other had a mix of about 6-8 vegetables. There was also a salad bar and a dessert station. First off, the meats were scarce and they didn't refill them frequently so we were left waiting to try and get more. The vegetables tasted old and straight from the can/package. The salad bar was about the only decent thing there and even it wasn't great. Desserts were dry and tasteless.

The waitress we had was nice. She seemed overwhelmed as she seemed to be the only one working. Even though she was stretched thin, she did ensure we had refills and checked on us as much as she could. I give props to her.

In terms of the atmosphere, there really isn't one. The tables and chairs appear old/damaged and in desperate need of replacing. The whole place just feels like a ton of tables and chairs and two little-bitty buffet bars; just seems like too much space for such little food offered.

Lastly, the price is absolutely absurd. I spent $85 for my family of four to eat and it wasn't worth even half that. We barely got any meats and what we did get tasted old, dry, and without flavor. Sad to say we ended up paying, leaving, and ate somewhere else later that night. A waste of $85 that's for sure.

This place needs to either have a major overhaul, change their prices, or shut down.

Stopped on way thru on vacation for first time. Buffett good with lots of variety. Julie gave us a pleasant greeting, Whitney was great helping w drinks, taking away dishes. Good experience.

Decent food, kind of pricey for buffet because their options aren't that expansive. Place was clean, outdated but I think that was part of the charm. Our waitress was attentive.

The salad bar has the freshest veggies and fruit. The employee kept it nice, full, and clean. The fried fish had the best flavor and crispy! I enjoyed the veggies and mac & cheese. Their dessert is always delicious!

We have family that lives in Clinton and we travel up 5-6 times a year to visit. We have been to this Western Sizzlin four times now and have never had a bad experience!! The staff is always friendly, the food is always fresh and hot, and the place is clean! It does not have as large of a selection as the larger ones like where we live but they always have great fried fish and chicken - even during non busy hours.

We just got there at the wrong time. The ribs, chicken and fish were probably left from lunch. After we ate, they brought out freshly cook meat. Salad bar was very good and stocked well.
