I have been wanting to stop by this roadside diner for a long time but never had time. Well today I did, I ordered a hamburger with a chocolate shake. The burger was a thick patty that tasted great kind of like in the old days when you could get a great greasy burger that had that meaty taste. The shake was darn tasty too. They are a bit pricey but hey, it’s good food

Nice little spot along our route home. Would have missed it if it weren’t for the navigation. The customer service was great. They accidentally gave us razorback nachos instead of loaded nachos but we’re solo apologetic and quick to correct our order. The strawberry shake was pleasant and the sweet tea wasn’t too sweet, it was just right. The catfish was tasty, the fried pie was excellent, and the cheeseburger was pretty flavorful also. Would highly recommend ????????

This was my second visit.
It's fantastc for the type of place.
The "sides" portions are a great value.

Please don't complain about not being able to eat inside on hot days. It's hot inside too. Not their fault. They wouldn't be able to have the prices they do if they had to air condition the small eating room.

Great place to stop on the way from Little Rock to Hot springs. Love the atmosphere and the outdoor seating.

I got the mushroom swiss burger and my son got the razorback nachos. Both were excellent and the nachos were big enough for both of us to share.

We both have banana shakes made with real bananas! They were excellent.

Definitely a "must stop" on any trip between Hot springs and Little Rock.

I insisted on stopping to eat and it didn't take long to ask myself "Why". This used to be a gem since I came to Hot Springs in 1981. What happened?

It's the April 2 and by July, this place will be in trouble if they perform like this. They had several cars and we asked about the dining room. The window lady told us the dining area was closed and only for eating. I said that was what we wanted and she said no bathroom or us giving your order in there. I told her we'd take it to go. She was unfriendly from the beginning.

Ice cream machine was down and they were out of some products. No biggie, we order and I request my receipt. She says okay and forgets to give it. I asked and she gave me one. We paid $49 for three of us but I understand local places are having trouble with cost of goods. The menu reflected a big mark up though.

She made our drinks and before we got to the window screamed for us to get them. My wife was right there already. Each guest afterwards got yelled at too. When I got my food, she said "napkins, ketchup and utensils are in bottom of bag ". We decided to eat at the picnic table and had no napkins, ketchup, or utensils at all. Accident, I'm not sure.

Look at the picture after one bite of my bacon cheeseburger, do you notice how much bun is visible? The meat was smaller than a McDonald's Quarter Pounder. Worse was that I paid $7.19 for the burger alone and got an entire combo for $7.99 at McDonald's yesterday. The food was fresh but for $15 per person, it was lacking value.

In the end, rude service, high prices, and poor portions were my visit. Not sure if it was a bad day but I'm not stopping again soon.

This location is off of the highway70 and is great if you're traveling and need to pull over and grab something to eat. The food is made fresh to order. My significant other will travel for the burgers, fries, and homemade milkshakes. They offer a nice selection of menu items. The service is quick and they are friendly. There isn't a large lot but parking isn't difficult.

The first girl Stephanie was wonderful and nice. The second girl that helped us, she wears white glasses, is very rude she was rudely telling us they didn't have chili and they didn't have ranch dressing they didn't seem to have anything we wanted and told d us they they didn't have very rude like. And then to top it off when she gave me my change she handed me rhe dollars and said she was out of quarters, like she couldn't give me dimes and nickels. There was no need to be so rude and snobby to anybody and then not give me all my change that was due to me. The atmosphere was chill because they made us sit outside and then let 2 truck loads of guys go in and eat but told us it was closed. All thefood was burnt and very little for the price. Very bad experience. Will not be going back.

Used to be great place. The employees are to busy get high to give good service. You could smell the pot from the windows. They don't open the dining room for this reason. Over priced. All the fried food tasted like burnt old grease. Extremely rude woman working. The old owners need to start running again instead of their son.
