We ordered the bbq sandwhich, bbq ribs, and the pork/chicken plate. With the 3 meals we got to try just about every side, and we also got the chocolate pie and banana pudding. Everything was AMAZING!! Especially after a 4 hour kayak down the Koosa river!

Mac and Cheese appeared to be a home style variety with white cheese. The common theme with the food is that it is like going to someone else's house to eat. It is all recognizable food but the flavor profile is unique to them. The camp stew, slaw, and barbecue sauce were all competently done but were also all unique. The ribs were weirdly firm and not juicy but that just highlights how unique this place is. We rarely visit this place but I think everyone should try it at least once a presidency.

I had the rib plate w sauce on the side. My 2 sides were baked beans and cole slaw. I enjoyed it very much even without the sauce on it. The sauce had a good flavor so it would be good either way. The baked beans have smoked pork pieces in them. Slaw was good too. My aunt ordered catfish dinner and the fish was freshly fried when ordered. We are not familiar w chunky potatoe salad but the green beans were pretty good.

Stopped in to pick up an order yesterday otw home from Lake Jordan. The food was AMAZING!! They give you alot of Pulled Pork on a sandwich and ALOT of fries. The ranch was very good. We will plan to make a stop here on otw back from the lake next go around. Kwep up the good work!!!

I tried Champs for the first time today and I must say it was a good choice. The customer service, Oh my! Nothing but smiles and greetings from everyone as soon as you walk in. Got to love southern hospitality. I got the bbq sandwich, mac n cheese, baked beans, coleslaw, and banana pudding. The sandwich was full of meat and good. I could only eat less than half lol. All the sides were delicious. I received the coleslaw by mistake but it was a delicious one lol. The mac n cheese whew let just say I love mac n cheese and I would definitely order again. The bake beans were good also and had pieces of meat simmered into it. I was too full o keep eating but I did take a spoon of the banana pudding for this review. It was good okay (not homemade like I thought it would've been) but that's my fault for not asking. Overall I give 5 stars and would recommend to others.

First visit to Champs and we loved it. The parking lot was full (always a good sign) but we found a table immediately. Staff was very busy but really friendly and appreciative of our business. Definitely will be back.

Absolutely phenomenal barbeque! The meats and sides were cooked to perfection and the homemade sauce is like no other. I got the sausage plate with green beans and mac and cheese and I can't recommend it highly enough! Do yourself a favor and stop by Champs Barbeque and grab some amazing food!
