They only have one person working and a self checkout now. I've spent an average of five hundred a week at this store since they opened. It's close to home and I love to ride my bikes or four-wheelers to the store. Today I was told that I couldn't bring my mesh backpack into the store by some rude little self righteous brat. I'll never go back in that store.

Why does Dollar General feel the need to under pay, under staff and over work their employees? Absolutely not acceptable going in there and only one person working with the line going all the way around the store. Plus, truck driver having to wait on the employee because he is killing himself trying to check people out.

Although recently they have been out of stock of numerous staples that my house runs on, the employees and managers are superb. The level of customer service goes above and beyond the normal you would find anywhere else. You really feel like you are in the General Store in Mayberry and that Sheriff Taylor may breeze by you at any given moment. ????

This location offers the best shopping experience verses any others in this area. The store was more organized, well stocked and the isles weren't blocked by boxes, carts and employees restocking shelves during peak shopping hours. This is a HUGE problem with any other Dollar General stores in this area. I can't find it possible to rate any Dollar General store I've visited as five star. They consistently have only one register open to any number of shoppers. Expect to wait in line no matter what store or what time you're shopping. The turnover rate of employees is obviously higher than any other marketplace in the area. It goes without saying, their employees are rarely knowledgeable in customer service skills. The lower prices used to make it worth the wait in line at the lone register. But, I have noticed a dramatic increase in their pricing over the last year.

The staff in this store always goes above and beyond to be friendly and make sure you not only find everything you need but to make your shopping experience pleasant. There was an elderly gentleman who obviously was lonely and not anxious to go home was in the store tonight. The staff went out of their way to converse with him and were comforting and encouraging to him. He left at the same time I did and was showered with a chorus of be safe and drive carefully comments. Very pleasant to see.

Horrible service. Employees are not attentive. In fact, they seem none existent. They are rude when they do acknowledge you. Last time I was there the cashiers were outside smoking cigarettes for 20 minutes while I waited in line. When they came in the walked right past me like I was invisible ????. The person in front of me left their things on the floor and walked out. Then after another 7-8 minutes I left my things and walked out. This happens a lot there. And good luck finding things. They aren’t very organized ????????u200d♀️

Discount general store caring anything from most quick fix lunches and dinners. Breakfast items, snacks, and varieties of drinks. Toys, out door tools and decorations, every day items plus more. Always a pleasant trip when visiting this store. Greeted upon entering the front door every time. Clean and orderly aisles and is kept in good shape. Quickest and friendlies cashiers in town.
