This place is such a unique experience! The cave is beautiful and I am so thankful that it is shared with the public.

The only way to access the cave/saloon is by shuttle (a pick up truck with stairs to the bed and bench seats). The wait time at the shuttle stop was pretty quick, even at peak visiting time on a Saturday.

The food was delicious, service was great and atmosphere was awesome! Can’t wait to come back!

This place is amazing! It is very unique and is a beautiful venue located in the cleft of a mountain. It's almost a cave. I visited on a very hot August day and it was so cool and inviting.

The food is delicious and there are large portions at great prices. At night, there is live music or karaoke. This place has been open for many years and I had never heard of it. Don't pass up the opportunity to visit. It is well worth the time.

It was a unique place, a 1 trip glad we did it place. I guess I was just expecting a little more. The effort wasn't there. The burgers are prefab, so a burger is a burger. We had potato salad (????) and Colslaw (too sweet) as our sides. The waitress said the key lime pie was awesome, so we tried a piece. It was Edward's pie from the freezer section. You could taste the freezer in it. The onion rings, were pretty good. Batter was perfect, but either they didn't use a sweet onion or they need sweeter onions for them. But we did enjoy the uniqueness the place offers.
Dogs are allowed if you eat outside.

Unique and amazing! Clean atmosphere with lots of seating. The food was good and we didn't have a long wait to be served. There are two small restrooms so expect a line. Not bad though. The people who worked there were friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Fabulous onion rings, generous portions, really cool atmosphere and live music! We arrived at 4:30, 5 minute wait for the taxi, food arrived within 15 minutes.
Seating in the cave included ~40 tables, each table can seat 8, you also have a choice to eat inside the saloon.

This was a cool place to grab a burger. We came on a Thursday night and there wasn't a line for the taxi. The couple who rode down with us said the wait was over an hour their last visit. I guess we got lucky since we went straight down. The food wasn't bad. It is pretty much bar food but this is pretty much a bar in a cool location. The cave and band are the reason to visit. Our waitress was quick and attentive and the band played a wide range of music.

What an incredible place!

I discovered the Rattlesnake Saloon while planning a road trip from Georgia to New Orleans. It was a little out of the way, but a restaurant in a cave? I had to try it out! It did not disappoint.

The location is downright magical, the service was good. The food was actually really great and there was a live musician playing on the Sunday afternoon we came and that made the experience that much better.

When you get to the parking lot, leave your car and wait in the small, covered shelter for a truck to come pick you up and take you down to the saloon. You ride in a large covered truck bed with seats down a steep hill to the restaurant. Even the ride was fun!

When you get out of the truck, wait at the hostess station to be seated. There are a multitude of tables in the open air cave. You are outdoors, but there’s a breeze and shade. The farther back in the cave you are, obviously, it feels cooler, temperature wise.

Food is plentiful, fresh and tasty. Loved the plump mozzarella cheese sticks, and they fry up their tortilla chips for the chips and salsa fresh while you wait. My sandwich was delicious and everyone enjoyed the well-seasoned fries and juicy onion rings.

Due to local ordinances, they don’t serve alcohol until after 5 PM so you’ll have to come for a dinner experience if you want adult beverages with your meal.

There was a musician playing country and rock hits on the stage in the cave. He was great and seriously hit all the high points - Skynyrd, Johnny Cash, David Allen Coe, Garth and Waylon and Chris Stapleton. Loved him - the music made a great experience exceptional.

After our meal we took a little walk down the hill past the saloon into a magical wooded grotto with a pond, waterfall, more caves and beautiful trees and plants.

This place is something special and I highly recommend you make a detour off the beaten path to check it out. Very memorable. You won’t regret it!

We had a rather large group, 11 people. We came in from Ohio for our daughters funeral of course they didn’t know that but while preparing our large order they realized they didn’t have the 4 dilla’s we had ordered so we had to pick something else off the menu. Due to running out of the item we wanted they took off the entire meal amount. The Best service I have ever seen. They went above and beyond. The waitress was the best. Yes it takes awhile but people in the world need to learn patience with food service industry. Would definitely visit again. Thank you our time was nice at your saloon.
