My husband and I are traveling across country and visited this store. As we walked in, all was well. The hostess greeted us and said there would be a 20 minute wait and took our name and asked for a phone number. I asked "what's the phone number for". She said to text me when a table is ready. I was confused because half of the restaurant was empty, and the parking lot was half full, but OK. I took pictures of the seating area at that time. Sure enough after 20 minutes we were stated. A pleasant waitresses did take our order in a timely fashion. I took more pictures. It took 48 minutes to get our food. A simple kids chicken strip meal and a lunch sampler. In the meantime several staff members walked around with little sense of urgency. Other customers waited a long time as well. The hostess would only clean a table when they seated customers at that table. The food was not hot and fresh as you would expect from waiting so long. Not good at all. I asked for and spoke to the manager Tracy. She was not aware that the hostess was putting people on a 20 minutes wait. I never saw her during the 12:30 business hour until I asked for her. This was an unpleasant experience. I will go to Crakel Barrel again because I know that as a whole, they are better than this.

All service was poor!! Very poor service! They opened at 7am. We got there at 6:56am. We were the very first and only customers! There were 4 of us. Waited and average 5 minutes for the waitress to come take our drink order. We ordered coke and milk, and it took literally 10 minutes to bring our drinks! She took our order for our food, 45 minutes later and we still had no food, never saw the waitress again, in the meantime other people came in and he got his food first! We asked for a manager, and they sent our waitress out instead and claimed the manager was on the grill, cooking a catering order. Don't you think they should have let us know it was gonna take years to get our food?! Bye! We left! Without getting our food! They don't deserve the star, but I had to put it so I can leave a review. Not to mention all the workers had parked in the very front parking spaces where customers are supposed to park.

The grilled chicken tenderloins, okra & turnip greens were great. But, of all things for them to change after all these years of me eating at Cracker Barrel,...... the hashbrown casserole. I have always loved it. This, that I only took one bite of, tasted like an instant kind of stuff at the store that I won't buy. The waitress took it off of my ticket for me when I asked. So, I just wanted to warn those who love it like me.

This was the worst Cracker Barrel experience I’ve ever had. I placed our order online? It was supposed to be ready in 20min. But it took over an hour. Because they gave our order to someone else. They discounted our order and gave us a free dessert. But when we got our order home stop, the chicken tasted like it was fried an old grease and the green beans leaked out into the bag. Definitely not what we expected.

Everything went swimmingly. The only thing I would change would be a little more seasoning on the steak, but everything else was excellent. The waiter was quite nice, and I was actually fairly shocked by the entire visit, as we had previously had less than satisfactory trips.

Very poorly managed. Arrived at 7 and was seated by 7:07. We asked for rolls while we were waiting for our food. The server said they were in the oven. She brought us rolls at 8. Waitress hasn’t come by our table to refill drinks. We’ve been sitting at our table for an hour and are still waiting for our food.the guy at the next table ordered sweet tea and was told they were waiting for it. Seriously - in Alabama? Don’t come here if you actually want to eat.

Katie B was our waitress she showed us excellent customer service. She treated all her customers with such beautiful spirit. She never allowed her facial expression to show that she was tired, or if we were getting on her number. I was very disappointed with the kitchen staff because they kept giving her the runaround and she was getting orders ready they would tell her one minute they have cornbread already in the oven the next minute they'll tell her that they're out and each time she comes back to let her customers know what's happening and if they wanted to change their order she didn't do it. And so I'm praying that she's able to stay on that job because if a whole kitchen staff that is that qualified play childish games then they shouldn't even be in Cracker Barrel.

They open at 7am, I arrived at 740am, the place was like a freezer inside, maybe 8 people in there, the hostess was walking around for at least 5 minutes and finally acknowledged me. Then, she started fumbling with the seat assignment touchscreen and after a couple of minutes gave up on it. She then proceeded to tell me that they had just got the grill started (maybe it was cold too?) and there may be a longer wait for food. I told her to forget it and that I had wasted enough time in there already. I will not EVER go back here again. Stay away unless you have a lot of time to kill and have an Eskimo suit to wear while in there. Ridiculous!
