Cassie's cafe in Tony was a good stop for a bite!

Their catfish is delicious and they have a patty melt that really held its own!

Good country cooking.
I eat lunch there 1 or 2 times a week.
Meat, 3 vegetables, dessert and drink at a good price.

It is a place the locals gossip and talk trash about each other. Hit them up early or their plate meals will be gone. The menu changes daily, and there are specials before the big holidays. They like cash transactions, bless their hearts. Watch out for the drivers though, it's at a 4 way stop next to a bar and a rural bodega.

Ordered a double cheeseburger with fries. The cheeseburger is the worst cheeseburger I’ve ever had by far it was so greasy that the bun had totally disappeared and melted away before I could even unwrapped it. This hamburger was just cooked fresh off the grill and was maybe in the paper sack 2 minutes before I attempted to eat it. The meat was also very poor quality and weird color. I definitely wouldn’t recommend any type of hamburger meat from this establishment.. The fries were pretty good though

Don't let the outside fool . The place is small and probably been there for a looooooog time. Now what your wanting to know. The food was first class. It really reminded of home cooking. It was delicious and something that was really cool was everybody knew each other. I'm sure they have been going there for ages.it reminded of how customers used to be treated. Anyway I'll definitely be going back there to try the rest of the items on the menu.
