I can tell they have made extra touches that I do not see everywhere to make it feel more luxury. Fresh flowers, real candles lit, gold foil on baked potatoes, wheel your main course out on a cart. Most of the staff have been working there for years and are very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The chef has worked there for 43 years from what the owner told us as he was checking on us and I was complimenting the prime rib. The owner also seated us and you could tell he was happy and thankful for our business which I can appreciate. I recommend you check this place out!

My husband and I have enjoyed dinners at George’s for many years, we love the atmosphere, the food is consistently amazing and the service is the best. Brent always takes excellent care of us. He treats us like family.
The new owners, Scott and Leigh Anna have done a wonderful job of keeping everything we love about George’s while adding some fresh new items to the menu. They really care about their customers and want everyone to have a great experience.The crab cakes are my favorite new item!
Dinner at George’s is a perfect way to celebrate a special occasion or just relax after a stressful day.

I attended a business dinner and was thoroughly surprised at the quality of food. I had heard many of my friends and some of my family rave about the quality of food. I ordered the two pork chop dinner and was pleasantly surprised with the size of them. Though they were quite large, the one that I did eat, melted in my mouth. I recommend this restaurant 100 times over to anyone.

We went here to celebrate my mom's birthday and they did not disappoint. It was a party of 8 and we were seated promptly for our 8:00 reservation. We were in a dining room with 2 other tables (one being a table for 2) so it was quite quaint in our dining section. Our server was nice and helpful with menu recommendations. The drinks we ordered from the bar were perfect! We had a variety of entrees from seafood to chicken to of course the main dining entree steak. Every plate was delicious and served hot and cooked to perfection. The family had a great meal and our mom thoroughly enjoyed her bday celebration. Highly recommend this restaurant for special occasions. Everything was top notch!!

Incredible. From food to service, they never missed a beat. White tablecloth dinner with incredible steaks and appetizers. Whether you’re a local or just traveling into the area, George’s Steak Pit is the place to eat.

I ate at George’s last night and the food was amazing. I had the filet (medium) with fried shrimp along with salad and baked potato. It was the best steak I have ever had at George’s and so tender. The shrimp were huge like what you would get at the gulf and cooked perfectly. The manager and the waitress were very nice. The manager even came to our table to check and see that we were happy with our meal. I will definitely be back!

The food was delicious and the service was great! Very nice and treated very well! The atmosphere was excellent for a very special night out like our 22 wedding anniversary!

Ate at George's last evening, 7/29/23. I'm sorry but, I've never been so disappointed. The waitress was wonderful. The steak was inedible. Ordered the bone-in ribeye. 55.00. it was tough and full of gristle. The seasoning has been changed since I was there last. They used something that had a lemon taste. Terrible. Brought the steak home and washed it in hot water to try to get the seasoning off. Didn't work. My dogs just ate a $55.00 steak. The baked potato was not done. They ate that too. I won't go back. Spent $130.00 plus tip. I expected better, much better.
