I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this Welcome Center is! The ladies restroom, though obviously old, is very well maintained and clean. The lobby is beautifully decorated and well stocked with tourist brochures. Also, the employees were very nice and helpful.

Lots of information inside for tourists. Super friendly staff!

There is a nice walkway outside that has several military recognition monuments/memorials as well as a Saturn Launch vehicle.

Very nice WELCOME center. You have to stop in and visit with them. They have a staff of friendly people that can answer any questions about Alabama. The large entrance area is decorated for Easter. ????. Lots of holiday things to look at. AND the restrooms are clean. SWEET HOME ALABAMA ????

This is a great place a lot of information there is not just a rest area you can camping if you like forest and much more, I like it

Clean restroom, a place for my dog to walk and play with the pinecone what else could be better?
Two of the outside trash cans were full, but I saw a worker making his rounds.

This was the nicest rest stop I've ever been to. It was beautiful!

It's a very nice rest area. We stopped to take pictures at the big state sign but it had been blown over. So we took them next to the smaller Alabama state sign. The womens restroom was clean and stocked. The building and grounds were clean and well kept. There were lots of pine trees, several covered picnic tables and a 'stretch your legs' walking trail that is .254 miles around, I think, and it goes around the restroom building. They were doing work on the building when we were there. I don't know if they are adding on or remodeling the existing.
