Wonderful food from great people. This is the type of place for everyone to find some something they will love to eat and come back again and again. The best place to buy freshshrimp! Wonderful covered patio to enjoy your food or you can get it to go!

Not the worst place, not the best place. Happy to choose a privately owned business. Off put by them asking if I was “with the Q” because I have a shaved head. The sour taste in my mouth that comment left made my food not taste as good.

Food, staff and atmosphere is amazing. You have to stop and try this place, Gumbo is a must!!!

Service was quick. We had fried shrimp and fried fish. Excellent light batter on the fish and shrimp everything was cooked to perfection. Sell Old Dutch ice cream, but was too full to get any. If that wasn't enough, I purchased some large green and ripe red tomatoes. But wait they had beautiful fresh shrimp, that's dinner tomorrow. Going back soon!

Traveling in the area, staying in Saraland and decided to search for "fresh shrimp dinner" nearby. The Shrimp Lady came up and after a quick scan f reviews, I hightailed it over before they closed. I'm so glad I did. Hospitality is first rate; makes you feel right at home. Shrimp, stuffed crab and gumbo were fantastic. I'll stop again when I'm intown for sure!

Delicious food and sweet people! There was only one table inside but we were just passing through and decided to sit in and eat and they were very accommodating! Everything we ordered was cooked and seasoned to perfection!

My husband and I have been wanting to try this place and are very glad we did! My husband ordered fried oysters, and I ordered the fried shrimp platter with 2 sides. The oysters were delicious. My shrimp was lightly fried with a subtle seasoning and was also very tasty. I got 2 sides, cole slaw and fries, and the fries are a little like wedges, and the cole slaw was really good! However, the fried shrimp advertised 2 sides, and we thought the sides were free. They're not. Its ok, though, because they were good. The hushpuppies are crispy outside and soft inside and can come with a cheese sauce for dipping. Both are very good, with a subtle kick. The folks who own this business are very nice, and we will definitely return.

Just want to add that I love this place! The food and service are great! Will definitely keep coming back!

This is my second visit to The Shrimp Lady and it will not be my last. I came this trip to try the burger. You may say a burger at a seafood restaurant in Satsuma, what are you thinking. But I was not disappointed. The Shrimp Lady is a small place that if you aren’t looking, you’ll drive right by it. But I promise, once you find it you’ll be back. This trip I had the Li’l Mike burger and baked beans. Both were awesome. I have to say the burger was the juiciest burger I think I have ever had at a restaurant and even though they call it the Li’l Mike, it is plenty and I’m afraid to see the Big Mike. I’ve also had their fried okra, fries and Gumbo. All are top notch and I’m already planning my next visit. Seating is limited to outside covered seating so dress for the weather.
