Just like the original Does in Greenville, Mississippi. All of the menu is good and the steaks are THE BEST cuts!!!!!! Has a large separate section if you are looking for somewhere to have a large gathering. If you leave there hungry, it's your own fault. Tip: Wear loose clothing especially eating the 3lb Porter house. So Good!

TLDR; I HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT!! We ate here when it first opened a couple years ago, and it was underwhelming, the steak was not seasoned, and nothing stood out. Well, last night we decided to try it again, and WOW, I am so, so glad we did! I have eaten steaks all over the country (at everything from hidden gems to Michelin star restaurants), and the steaks they served my wife and I yesterday seriously could stand up to any of them. I am beyond excited to have such an amazing steakhouse 5 minutes from my house. The sides and appetizers were absolutely delicious as well; I highly recommend the fried garlic biscuits and one of their staples, the tamales! They serve the tamales differently than they are typically served, with a side of chili to dip them in rather than in/on them. They were surprisingly good! We will be back very often!

We had heard so much about the great steaks...we ordered the steak for two. It was cooked to order but had so much gristle we could only eat about a third of it.
The garlic biscuits should be rated a one star. No garlic flavor at all! They looked like beignets without the powdered suger or good flavor.
This may be our first and last visit.

We were a party of two . We Called ahead to ask about needing reservations for that same evening. We were informed that they were a little short staffed , but could take us for that evening.
Long and short of it - we waited an extended period of time to get seated , approximately 20 minutes. Even though there weren’t that many other patrons in the restaurant . We were on the verge of walking out and going across the street to try the Mexican restaurant.
After about an hour of being at the restaurant and seated at our table, we did manage to get a glass of water and a cup of the gumbo soup , each. The gumbo soup was just okay . (We did ask the waitress what kind of gumbo soup it was, and she replied that she did not know. And then proceeded to stare at us.????)

We asked two different people ,four times in all for our drinks. Ultimately, my husband went up to the bar and asked the bartender for the drinks. A glass of Cabernet, and a Margarita, which was made incorrectly, not once , but twice. ????
Our dinners were served hot, but it was served before our salads , which we had to ask for and waited for after our dinner was already given to us.
I ordered the fillet , medium rare with a side of asparagus and a Caesar salad, no croutons. My husband ordered the fillet, medium rare with a side of mashed potatoes and a house salad.
Overall our dinners were good, but not fantastic. With their prices, we were expecting fantastic. No effort was made to remedy for the fact that we had to wait a prolonged period of time for our food and drinks, or for the confusion with our drinks and salads. Our waitress had the personality of a dead fish. ????The bartender was nice. We left a 10 percent tip , and chalked it up to lack of staffing for the evening. Call ahead and make sure they have enough staff , otherwise don’t bother .

Unless you want to spend $30 per steak and be disappointed pass on this one . We seen the road signs that said this was a two star Michelin restaurant/ steakhouse so we decided to try it . We ordered two New York strips at 6:30 in the afternoon on a Friday night for our anniversary dinner. The lovely waitress came back said there was only one New York strip available. Obviously, they’re only serving so many New York strip and running out at 6:30 in the evening and then pushing the rest of their meat so I gave the New York steak to my husband. I ordered ribeye steak and it was severely over cooked and my husband’s New York strip came bone in. Neither of us were impressed. I did not want to make any waves being it was our anniversary so I just ate a few bites of my steak and I took the rest home to warm-up for leftovers with rice like a stir-fry. This was a one and done restaurant for us. We will not come back to this restaurant. Trust me, there’s only so many people that will come here once !!!

Only one New York steak available at 6:30 , I guess you either order something else or leave. We stayed. The New York is on the bone but the menu didn’t specify ☹️ Both our choices were good but mine was overcooked. I was hungry so I ate a little. I thought I read that this restaurant was a Two Michelin star. I wonder how long ago that was because they need to revisit that designation. The waitress was nice and efficient.

Work dinner for 10. The wine suggestions were perfect. Appetizers tasty and well portioned. Salad was very good! Had every option of the steak and everyone loved it. Wish we had room for dessert. Highly recommend.

One of the best restaurants in the area by a long shot. The filet is amazing, and the staff are both knowledgeable and friendly. The atmosphere in the room could use a bit of work, maybe dividers or partition walls or something to give the place the ambiance that it deserves, but it's not enough of a detracting to really matter.
I advise sitting at the bar if you're old enough.
