Never disappointed with this place.
The best and most authentic Mexican food in Ozark Alabama. I lived in El paso Texas for 13 years and I have found that the food at Rodeos is the closest thing to the food from Mexico that I can find here. Staff is always smiling and friendly. The wait for food isn't long at all.
I come here at least once a month and am always satisfied with whatever I order.

Yep. Go. They had $5 Margarita's. We had mango. Their Chorizo is ???????????? excellent!!!!!

This restaurant is in a strip mall. But don't let that fool you. Once you step through the doors you are in for a treat. The place looks like brand new. No rips in the seating and the decor is spot on. Not overly done on the colors but well appointed colors and Lighting. Tons of booths for that intimate feeling. The servers were quick to bring the chips and salsa and had a pleasant attitude. Was very patient while we looked over the menu and made our choice. My wife and I came in at lunch time. So we ordered off the lunch menu. The food is a lot more than the prices let on to be. I had steak fajitas for $9.95. And my wife had Carnitas for $8.95. The dinners came promptly and I was very amazed at the quantity of food that you get for such a low price. And the quality of the food was very good. It has a little bit more spice than some of the other places around here. Not overly hot or anything by any means but just a little more authenticness. So you should stop by and visit this place if you haven't been here in quite a while. I'm not sure if they just remodeled or if they just open but the place really looks nice. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. Enjoy

Excellent Mexican food is not that common in southeastern AL. Rodeo's is the exception. Waiter was attentive, dishes came out quickly and the food was delicious. Note; hot salsa is available upon request. It is handmade and definitely e'spicy!

The food was good, but they did get part of the order wrong. They fixed it quick though so not a huge deal. Service was fast, and they were able to make sure we were satisfied. Music is too loud, and I can't have a conversation without feeling like you need to yell.

We eat here frequently because we love the food. The fact that the staff is so nice and friendly is a bonus. I'd like to say that Martha is absolutely the sweetest and I love when she is our server.

I had heard from a friend that of all the "Rodeo" restaurants in the area, this one was the best. Unfortunately that wasn't the experience I had. While the staff was cordial, I didn't feel particularly welcome. When I sat at my table, I could immediately feel that it was sticky. It was that kind of sticky from a table that's been wiped dozens of times but not actually cleaned. And the vents from the AC were leaking big fat drops of water onto my booth. When I brought this to the attention of my server, it was just a sort of "oh, yeah, well..." And they brought out a "wet floor" sign a few minutes later.

I am always trying to find good authentic carne asada tacos, and I was pretty disappointed but the ones I got today. I could already see that they weren't going to be authentic because on the menu they came with pico de gallo, sour cream and salsa verde on the side. I asked for cilantro and onion instead, like anyone who knows how to eat tacos does. I also had to ask for rice and beans, which is weird because even on a lunch menu, how is that not part of the entree? Rice and beans are extremely cheap, just include them. But the tacos were brought out without any lime! What??? The meat, disappointingly, was your typical pre -packaged beef fajita steak strips. They were bland and chewy.

To top it all off my total bill for a simple lunch for myself was $27. Queso dip, two "carne asada" tacos, a beer, and a side of rice and beans. This restaurant is just your average, but more expensive, faux Mexican fare in the US.

The restaurant was very clean...our table spotless!!! The waiter was attentive and personable. The food was excellent. The meal prices were outstanding. One of the most enjoyable dining experiences I have had in several months!
