I don’t believe in time travel. At least not going back in time anyway, because there would be a line out the door at the breezeway of people who came back in time to eat here. Everyone does chicken tenders these days. Most of the places that do it are pretty good to be honest. But the breezeway does it the best way. They menu has something for everyone and that’s me. I’m everyone and I want to eat the whole menu. It makes ordering hard. I love their mozzarella sticks. And their Reuben. And dang it the fries are plentiful! Look. If you don’t like the breezeway then partner you can saddle up your pony and point it west because these dang ol chicken tenders right here the best this side of the Mississippi! Yeeeeeeeeehawwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!

EXCELLENT food, EXCELLENT customer service and Southern hospitality, and EXCELLENT value for your money! The hostess, maybe the owner? offered us free boneless tenders sample with 3 different sauces when she found it it was it first time there ever, and it was great. Loved the grilled ones best but everything else we had (Breezeway club, grilled chicken tenders basket, chocolate cake, white chocolate bread pudding) was lovely too!

My daughter is still wondering what the recipe is for that bread pudding, said it was the BEST she's ever had! ????????

Soon as we walked out someone else was asking us down the street if we knew anywhere around there to eat cause they were starving! Pointed them immediately to this restaurant knowing they will be well taken care of on all counts! Husband loves the vibe and the food, reminds him of him in the old towns of Eastern Europe! ❤️

Great customer service. They really took care of us and helped us with recommendations since it was our first visit. Very friendly service and food came out quick and fresh/hot. Gentleman taking our order made a fantastic recommendation to get the grilled chicken tenders and I was truly amazed by how good they were. GREAT flavor, tender and juicy. The fried chicken tenders were great also and I really liked the signature sauce and the honey mustard dipping sauce. Great portions. Typical crinkle fries but they were good. Wish I had tried the mozzarella sticks. Would very much recommend and will be back.

I can’t believe I’ve never eaten at The Breezeway until today. What a hidden gem! Didn’t know they’ve been around for almost 3 decades in Opelika!! The owner found out we’d never been there before and wanted us to sample their signature chicken fingers and brought out fried and grilled ones for all of us. OMG! I have honestly never tasted a piece of chicken that delicious!! It was so juicy and tender and seasoned to perfection! I can’t believe I was actually raving over a chicken tender! It was absolutely, insanely delicious! We also had fried shrimp, fried green beans, salads and sandwiches. It was all amazing. The owner, Gena, was a sweetheart! She says that we must try the catfish when we come back. And the bread pudding. It’s a date and can’t wait to go back!

I enjoyed the Reuben made in the traditional way with a side of fries. Boars Head is the meat brand provided. Everything was tasty and I will go back to visit at the next opportunity. Staff was very friendly and service was fairly quick. Plenty of condiments available.

Food was great. I ordered the Breezeway club. Service quick and friendly. But please sand and paint the tables. This isn't a dive bar and shouldn't look like it.

I honestly love Breezeway’s food and I personally think they have some of the best wings and fries in Opelika. The wing basket to me is so good and when I order it, which is often, I get lemon pepper wings and fries along with two cups of ranch and it is fantastic! The wings are a good size with a good flavor and they’re fries are definitely some of my favorite that I have ever had with the right amount of seasoning, cut, and length they are cooked. Along with dipping them in ranch makes me want to slap my mama! Great food and good service so I would recommend????????
