Checked off a major bucket list item with this visit. Loved it he atmosphere and really loved the authentic Texas style BBQ. We enjoyed talking with the staff, laughing and socializing about good food and good memories.

As far as prices go, they range at $15-$20 per person for supper. With the quality of food and the quantity received, it was worth the price. Not something you'd hit weekly, but this is definitely a bi-monthly to monthly frequency level restaurant.

I enjoyed the 2 meat plate with brisket and spicy sausage, baked beans and meaty mac-n-cheese. My wife had the same but opted for the mayo-slaw option. (They have several options for slaw and sauces.). My son went with the pork sandwich. We all left full and very pleased.

Adult beverages are available on site and the support local breweries, such as Black Bear, located in downtown Madison. Kodus for local support!

Best Texas barbecue outside of Texas! Super friendly staff. Restaurant is exceptionally clean even the restrooms! Food served with a smile! Everything was delicious! Had brisket and pulled pork and wings, baked beans, green beans and a sign of cornbread, which are muffin style and absolutely scrumptious! This restaurant has handicapped entrance handicap parking.. food and service never disappoint! Best thing about it is family-owned and family run!

This place was awesome! Excellent value, everything was delicious. Brisket was tender and delicious (though it had a pretty dark ring). I don't usually go for sausage but the spicy sausage was like butter. Very flavorful, and one of the stars of the meal. Loved the baked beans and banana pudding. Good stuff.

First time visiting, ordered the chicken plate with baked potato and Mac-n-cheese. It was delicious. It wasn’t falling off the bone but was tender and full of flavor. Staff was very friendly and restaurant was clean.

I was ok. The ribs weren’t fall off the bone but, they have great flavor. The brisket was good and tasty but, it was kinda dry. They have signs about they’re generous portions with the proteins, but they really don’t. That’s about average at other places. Probably my favorite part we’re the green beans. Mac n cheese was pretty average.

Chuck Wagon has been my goto over the years while I have been visiting and now living here. It is always amazing food. I never walk away unsatisfied.

I typically get spicy sausage and another meat like their ribs or smoked chicken. Always juicy, flavored just right, and smokey tastiness.

Any establishment that respects the 2nd amendment and serves delicious food at a fair price is a 5 star for me! My family and are here tonight for about $45. I got the brisket sandwich plate with baked beans and hot BBQ sauce and it was amazing! We'll definitely be back.

The only way to locally experience real honest delicious Texas-style bbq. The delightful smoky flavor permeates every cut of tender meat. The food is actually smoked and not oven baked with liquid smoke flavoring. Always a delight.
