Great family restaurant. Best steaks we have had in a long time! Seasoned, tender & grilled to perfection! Our waitress Shelby was fantastic. Highly recommend whenever you are in the vicinity. Worth the trip!

Excellent!!!
The steak was cooked and seasoned to perfection, the asparagus were perfectly grilled, everything came out on time and in the right order. The atmosphere is warm and comforting. Man, I tell ya, I'm glad I tried this place. I haven't had a better steak at a restaurant in years! A+!

I ordered a Ribeye steak cooked Medium. Once I got back to hotel and opened the box, steak was burned on one side and cooked like leather. The salad and texas toast were fine. It was our first time visiting this restaurant, maybe the cook was new, not in a hurry to give them a second chance.

This was the BEST steak I have had in ages! Definitely worth the stop when traveling through Luverne. My husband had an appetizer of fried mushrooms. We both had a NY Strip with 2 sides. They were cooked perfectly, and were mouth-watering awesome. We finished our meal with a Chocolate Tort dessert (gluten-free for me). We met one of the owners, and she and her staff were super friendly, a great host of Southern hospitality! (I was so hungry, I took a couple bites before I remembered to take a pic)

Food was good, waitress was a southern gem. Table for 5 with reservations was right inside the busy front entrance. Loud popular hangout with varied menu.

Today I had their filet medium rare and loaded baked potato. Homemade chocolate pie. Awesome.

Tender steaks with awesome flavor. Had a medium ribeye, Fried Green Beans and sweet potato. It was great. This was my first time at Preston's and I will definitely go again.
