Self checkout is good all, but when you need help and can't find anyone because you have 3 self checkouts and one regular cash register. I did get help, and the lady was nice.

These managers at this Dollar general let so much money walk away from this store closing at 9:45. Never seen so many people hate their job as much as people at this store. Just bad attitudes all around. It takes less effort to be sweet than be crabby all the time. Cuz I'm still smiling regardless ????????????

The store in headland is terrible. Customer service sucks, shelves always empty, employees standing around or out back door smoking. To NOT except a FL ID because it won’t scan was crazy. It is valid until 2025. Then for Erika to call the IGA across street to say coming over there with an invalid ID was funny.

This store needs corporate attention. I was there one night about 20 minutes before closing. A staff member came up to me at the managers instruction aggressively ushering me towards checkout 10 minutes before close. I was trying to wrap up one item and she came back moments later insisting I needed to be checked out immediately.
Tonight I called at 9 and verified they were still open because they seem to keep their own hours instead of the posted hours. She said they were. We needed Benadryl and I sent my husband. He got there before 9:30 and they were closed, when closing time is 10. He had to drive to Dothan.
Lastly, the cashiers are always on their own while the manager hides in the back, only coming out for voids. The lines will be backed up terribly and they have to request help from her multiple times.
This store is undependable to say the least. I have worked in customer service for 16 years and this is not it.

The absolute worst customer service additudes I have ever felt with. No masks half the time and just straight up rudeness. Also unkempt and dirty store's all around. However great products and prices. Just do not buy the milk. It will not keep. Trust me I know this for a fact.

Prices fantastic! Can get about anything, even most OTC medications, much cheaper than at your chain pharmacies. Excellent brand of their own grocery line. Only problem is storage at store (s) are not large enough for amount of stock. Sometimes have to hunt for what you want.

I normally love shopping here. The only setback was that the lines are too long and only one register would be open. I had to work yesterday morning but I needed to grab something on the way. The store hours are 7am. I got there at 7:03, went to the door and it was locked. The cashier was at her register and just looked at me and walked away. Another truck pulled up and they asked what time it opened. At that time is was 7:07. I actually got back in the car and drove off at 7:10 and the truck did the same thing.

Unfriendly. This was not the first bad experience I have had here. Today, there was a line at the one cash register, it appeared that the other register was open as a lady was there so I moved over to it. The sales girl was rude and told me she didn't have her register open, I said your kidding, she responded "no I'm not kidding"go to register___sending
me back to the first one where there was a line. She then went into an office leaving a line with only one register open. This was the day with severe weather.I was told she is the assistant manager. She needs to have customer service training . The other lady at the checkout
was friendly. Fred's Manager is much friendlier , greets everyone and I enjoy shopping there.
