Uh... Yum! The place doesn't look like much, but it's what's inside that counts. If you like smoked meats, come here, it's worth the drive.
The young man manning the counter was very nice and helpful. He recommended the SmackJaw for the wings and I was Not disappointed (Move over Frank's Red Hot Granny because this sauce Is *actually* good on everything) and the BamaBoi on the side for the ribs (also good) as they are the 2 sauces made in house. Both the ribs and wings had beautiful smoke rings and flavors that they didn't need any sauce. I don't regret the sauce though because I dipped my onion rings (okay) and jalapeno hush puppies (good) in the sauce and it was great.
The owner (and the man behind the magic) came out front for a second and chatted with me for a sec., it was very nice. I will definitely come here again.

RD went out of his way to accommodate my child who has a lot of food allergies. He’s a truly good man who cares about his customers and his business. I highly recommend. His food is phenomenal!

The best pulled pork around!!! Second best brisket. Delicious Mac-n-cheese; perfect peach cobbler; amazing cowboy baked beans! We love this place!!! Such an awesome value! Incredible people!

Amazing food, (just a bit too much salt on the fries, and I like it salty),. We got the managers special. Pulled pork sandwich, 4 smoked wings, fries, cole slaw and out choice of sauces on the side. $10.99+tax. Awesome deal, plenty of food. Some of the best wings I've ever had. Nicely smoked and then deep fried to crispy perfection. Pulled pork was super moist and delicious. Fries were nice, just over salted. The place looks like a 3rd world establishment inside. Dirty, lights missing covers, bulbs, ballasts; missing floor tiles, everything mismatched, but that's what adds to the charm. This place is legit Alabama. Will be going back on next visit.

Meats are great, sides…not so much. The mac and green beans were incredibly bland. Meat was the opposite. Didn’t look to see if you can just order big orders of meats, but I would recommend doing that and making sides at home. Ribs were tender. Wings were way better than I was anticipating. This might be my new wing spot. Although I do wish they gave more of a 50/50 flats/drums. I got 8/10 drums and 2/10 flats. Of course I am a flats guy. Next time I will try to order all flats.

We participated in the Monrovia VFD fundraiser and the pulled pork we received was some of the best we’ve ever had! Awesome smoked flavor, so tender and juicy. We plan on trying some of the other menu items very soon! Highly recommend!

This is a great place to come and take a good lunch or even dinner. It has an old country restaurant feel with great service. The food is served fast and even to good quality. If you are a simple country folk that likes some good pork and chicken sandwiches this is also a great choice.

The food is still really good but sadly the portions have severely decreased.

We drove from Cullman to have lunch and left unsatisfied.

Usually (we visited often when we lived closer) their nachos are too much but this time mine were mostly stale chips and cheese, hardly any meat. My husband ordered double meat and that portion was more like the normal order.
