Restaurant was busy but plenty of available seating in the dining area. Our order was prepared quickly and accurately and brought to our table. Plenty of self serve condiments and drink selections available. Restaurant was clean and comfortable.

I was not happy with my $77 order. Not only did I not get all my sauses and had to remind them of some of my food that was missing but I get home. to make it look as if I had plenty of macaroni and cheese they give me a bowl of cheese sauce with five noodles. My oakra was to salty to eat and my cracklings was stale. Not sure how the kids food was but i wasnt happy with mine not sure when I will be back.

The service was great I have no complaints there. But there is spider webs in the lamp shades and dust all over the paper towel holders on the table. Order the Lobster bites which is a rip off. You get 6 for 2.50 and they are no bigger than a quarter. Won't go back to Hartselle.

This captain ds had the best service speed of service and fresh quality food. I give the kitchen staff 10 stars way to go guys

This Captain D's was the best...the sweet lady at the drive thru was so courteous & friendly...the food was great everything was hot & the best part was how this lady spoke to us...she asked us if we needed anything else & thanked us...so many people don't do that anymore... I will certainly drive 25 miles to get such great service & amazing food...❤️

This used to be one of the best Captain D's around. But now somebody is changing the taste of the food and it's not nearly as good. The green beans are sweet not like other Captain D's and now the coleslaw has also changed. I called and asked about this and was told that they went back to the original coleslaw but today ordered coleslaw and again it had something added to it made it not good.... I hate to drive to Decatur but if this doesn't change I will no longer be going to Captain D's in hartselle... I've reported it but nothing seems to be happening
