Whoever schedules for the night shift on Wednesday evenings needs to rethink their planning. They were clearly under staffed for the amount of traffic at 8pm. It's church night. People eat out after church. We went inside and watched the employees struggle to keep up. The food was tasty though. It took longer than it should however they did the best they could with what they had. The young man who took our order was very pleasant. Someone raised him right.

It’s sad because this was the best Jacks in town. Now it’s just as bad if not worse than the rest! The last time I ate anything from there was a grilled chicken sandwich. The chicken apparently wasn’t done, and was not up to temp. The sandwich was warm. After eating, a few hours later I got sick from the food. And on top of it they hire back employees that are rude and shouldn’t be there. It’s nasty and a few of the employees are nasty and wreak off BO I won’t be back.

The chicken and waffle is terrible!!! Don't waste your money. The waffle is not good at all and the 2 chicken tenders i was given were the size of my pinky finger. And the 25 min wait was even worse. I will always go back to Jack's. But not for that.

They have good food all day long! If you like coke, they serve it, lol I love their breakfast combo and biscuits and gravy are delicious.

We're regular customers of Jack's in Cloverdale Rd, Alabama. We loved their chicken due to their thick breading. But not this time, we went there at 3:30 pm today (2-07-23) my husband had to wait 15 minutes because there wasn't enought left in the tray to complete our order. My husband didn't check our order when it was handed to him because he assumed they cook the chicken in the same way they used to. When we got home & took the chicken out of the box, it was different, the breading was so thin and we were disappointed. If that's the way they're gonna cook there chicken now, we believe we're not coming back there anymore.

In fairness to Jack's, I'm writing another review. The next morning my husband talked to the manager and explain what's going on and she told my husband that they had new crews that time that's why the chicken wasn't cooked the right way and told my husband to come back and she'll change the chicken. I guess the regular crews are in. So my husband returned the chicken he ordered the previous day, and the manager gave us the newly cooked chicken, the breading was thick and crispy like it used to. My husband was happy that the manager took care of the issue, and he even ordered a breakfast to go. So we're giving them a 5 star. The employees are nice and friendly, and the place is clean. We love Jack's chicken, wherever we are, if we're in the mood for chicken, we always prefer Jack's.

The service is terrible and the food even worse. The biscuits are hard and other than that their food is not fresh. Fries always cold or taste recooked.

Clean. Good breakfast platter at a great price. Fast. Ate in. Cashier was new so a little slow, but he was courteous.
