Store 40 in Eight Mile was Awesome. Today is May 18th, 2023. This was my first and LAST time going into this store. I picked up some frozen chopped steak for dinner on the way home. When I got home and opened the box it smelled TERRIBLE. I go to look at the expiration date and it says 04/09/2023. Yikes

I may stop by this store enroute to my house after work. But yesterday 0607/2022, this store was pack with 1 register open, sadly I was able to stand in the line but, my heart goes out to the older people of this community that doesn't have a choice not to go into this store. Greer's are always in the low income black community providing bad customer service, expensive food prices & sub par merchandise. My advice to shoppers in this community... inspect your fruit and vegetables they are always molded but I was told all sales are final. Also, smell your meat, this store uses a fragrance to cover up the smell of rotten meat. Lastly, take note of the sale by date, their sales dates are often expired

I believe their must be owner or company they order from. The veggies and fruit seemed fresh, however not much variety of meats. Actually,, Zero chicken breast which is what I went for. Store was cleaner than before,, however, the woman checking me out couldn't even say my total of my purchase, due to the fact she couldn't get the ice cream out of her mouth

They have some of the best produce ever. We got the sweetest grapes we've eaten in awhile.

the store in Simmes Alabama always dirty bad parking for handicapped people one spot only the conveyor belt where you put your food on is a very dirty including the space'sto divide the food from someone else very dirty so I go to a different store and you noticed immediately the different in cleanliness
