I come here for the annual Russian food festival in the beginning of November. It's a great event. They have baked goods, frozen foods, and hot food to eat in or take away. You can also respectfully visit their sanctuary.

Wonderful church community. Came up here for the Russian Food Festival. Had the opportunity to first-hand witness the hospitality and dedication of the parish and their outreach along with the festival. Certainly worth the drive — especially if you are within a couple hours drive — to see the work they do. The church itself and its history are very interesting.

I spent my first Easter Sunday away from home in 1979 at St Nicholas. I have long since moved... After 50 years I hope to see another Service this year... yours in Christ timothy

What a Gem ! This Russian Orthodox Church is a great piece of Alabama history & part of our mining history!
It is in the little town of Brookside ,Alabama.
