My husband and I were so excited to come here for dinner because we have heard nothing but great things about this place. They were busy when we arrived and we were promptly sat by the host. We were brought our drinks and some bread by the host as well. He said that our server would be right with us. We waited and waited and looked around for a server, but they never came by. Finally this lady, who I’m assuming is maybe an owner or manager, saw me looking and came by and said “do you need something?” I told her we were fine just wondering where our server was. She took our order. We received our appetizer which was delicious, and when we were done with that, the host that sat us came by and asked if we were ready for our check. We said no, we were waiting on our dinner. Our salad came out next, and we ate that, then when we finished our salad, the same host came by asking if we were ready to our check once again. We told him a second time we were waiting on our dinner. The manager/possible owner lady came by and told us that she had been in the back washing dishes and forgot the type of pasta my husband wanted. She went back to the kitchen and brought us back our entrees. I ordered the veggie pizza and my husband got the chicken Parmesan with fettuccine noodles. The pizza right off the bat looked way too cheesy. I picked up a slice and the cheese slid right off the crust with the minimal toppings. It was supposed to have roasted garlic, artichoke hearts, tomatoes, onion, bell peppers, mushrooms, basil on it, but all I could see was 500lbs of cheese, tomatoes, basil, a couple of mushrooms and that was basically it. The crust was raw in the middle and the whole pizza was inedible. The manager/possible owner came back to the table to tell us she was going to leave us with this other young girl to pay and then walked off. The young girl had our check and as she was cashing us out, I told the girl that the pizza was awful I didn’t even eat one slice. She said she was sorry and would tell the kitchen, but didn’t even offer to get a manager or take off the pizza from the check. We just left after paying and tipping 20% to who knows. I hope the host gets something because he was the one person who was looking out for us even though he kept asking us about the check. The place had so much potential, but fell flat. What a shame. We will never be back.

I took my mother here for her birthday. They were very accommodating, friendly, spacious, and clean with veggie options! Their dessert options were surprisingly amazing!!!! My mother tried fried squid here for the first time, she enjoyed it until she found out what it was. Overall we had a great time.

We had our son and daughter in laws wedding rehearsal dinner at Joe’s Italian 4/14/23.
The whole experience could not have been any better. The service, food and atmosphere was fantastic!! I recommend Joe’s 100%
And Andy our server for the evening provided great service from set up, through the dinner to clean up!!! Exceptional!!!

Generous portion for the price. The staff at Joe’s is ALWAYS sweet and friendly, and caring. Also, their cakes are soo good! 10/10! Run, don't walk.

When I’m Alabaster, be sure to check out this local favorite. This popular restaurant has good Italian good, good service, and a place big enough for large gatherings. The meal starts with warm bread, olive oil and some Italian seasons - perfect for nibbling while going through their menu looking for your next meal. We love the traditional lasagna and spaghetti entrees. The sauce is thick, flavorful, and ever so slight sweet. Another suggestion is to eat light- their tomato basil soup with their bread for dipping is perfect. It is yummy AND doesn’t fill you up so you have room for DESSERT! Joe’s is known for their HUGE cake slices. It may take a couple of days to eat just one mountainish slice. Favorites are their strawberry cake, Italian crème cake, red velvet, cookies and cream and more. They normally have about 8-10 flavors of cake at any given time. Check it out and let me know what you think!

Hosted a private party here and the service was great! Andy was a huge help to our party and the food was delicious. The room itself is not decorative and rather plain but we put up our own decorations anyway. Overall a great experience!

My family and friends decided to eat here on 4/21/2023. We were a party of 6 that arrived at 3:15 PM. We were sat at a back table next to wear the waiters and waitresses seemed to be having snack time while rolling forks and knives and they did not clean the table before seating us. Also, the floors were so sticky that it was difficult to walk around the table.

I understand our waitress may have been new, but there were repeated instances when instead of waiting for us to finish all of what we were asking for, she would walk away from the table before we were finished speaking. There was a large number of staff there compared to the number of tables (which was us and one other table, so 2 tables in the whole restaurant) and they had multiple opportunities to step in and assist the struggling waitress but chose to stand near our table and stare at us. FULL ON STARE AT US WHILE WE ATE! Also, the bread that was brought to our table was hard as if it had been made the day before or a couple of days before. The oil that they gave with it had very little flavor and was sour tasting. When I say the bread was hard, I mean that we let some of the pieces sit in the oil for awhile so we could eventually chew it. Our glasses were only refilled once the whole time we were there which resulted in us having to ask multiple people for refills before we finally received the one round of refills. At one point whilst we were needing assistance, our waitress turned and walked out the back door and got in her car before coming back in and handling our food. Again, we understood that she may have been new but instead of running back and forth between our table and the computer multiple times, why not write it all down first? Also, if you are going to be serving food, please make sure that your stomach is not exposed next to where people are eating.

Overall, the food was okay but it was not worth the amount of money that we paid. If you mix the terrible service in with the mediocre food, then it was most definitely not worth the price we paid. Which is very saddening to me and my family and friends because we drove over 2 hours to eat there because of how great our first experience was. Unfortunately, I believe this bad trip has completely overshadowed our previous experience at Joe’s.
